Odell POV
Layla was the smart ass girl in my English Class. I was going to fail till I charmed Layla into tutoring me. She didn't like me at all.
"Yo Mister quarter back stop texting your hoes.
"Im not a quarter back, I play defense.
"I don't know what that means but it seems like your a lame player. Quarter backs are top dog and you not.
"You don't know shit about football do you?
"Nope, its boring. I rather read a book and watch a movie on my Sunday's.
"You should come to a game. Open your horizons and see me in action.
"Is your football skills just like your blocking hoes skills? Cause if so I definitely have to see this.
"Haha.
Layla came to one game and got hooked. Which resulted in us getting close. I open my football world to her and she open her world of literature and quotes to me.
One night changed everything between us. The night she gave me her virginity.
"Where do you see yourself in the future?
"Playing pro ball while my good luck charm is in the stands watching me.
"Who says I'm going to be there?
"I do. You know your my world woman. Im taking you with me when I get drafted.
"Really?
"Yea. You always going to be my number one. I love you Layla.
"I love you too Odell.
We kiss each other and I made love to her in her dorm room.
I got drafted into the Giants and Layla came with me. Since playing and getting known by many, I distanced myself from Layla.
"So all this time we thought Layla was just some chick you smashed that got attached but she is actually your girlfriend. *Jarvis
"Nah, she is actually my wife. *Odell.
"What?!*guys
"We got married before I left to NYC at my parent's house.
