Layla POV
Tonight is our first social gathering as a married couple. I'm excited and nervous.
"Baby are you ready?
"Yes Odell.
*At the Party
As soon we get to the party,whispers start. The guys are welcoming but not the woman except Victor girlfriend. Some think I'm a crazy, gold digging opportunist. Which is basically saying that they are jealous because I have Odell, the man they want.
Odell is hanging out with his friends while I'm sitting outside drinking. I don't belong here but I'm glad the truth is out. I just can't socialize with these stuck up, vapid airheads. I practically ran away when they started talking about the trends of the season. One of them asked my opinion and I'm like pastel colors are great. They laughed and that's when I walked away.
Odell POV
I'm laughing and cracking jokes with some of my team and Melo. All of sudden a bunch of women come over to Us. They corner me and start hurling questions at me.
"Where did you meet her?
"Why are you even with her?
"Are you doing charity work?
"Is she blackmailing you?
"shut up! Stop asking me questions about my wife. I'm with her cause I love her end of story.
"
Okay Odell. Let's turn up! *Football groupie
We start doing shoots and then it's all a blur.
*Later
I'm chasing behind Layla.
"Baby! Wait! I'm sorry.
"Oh really for what? Forgetting that you have a wife or getting caught with those sluts.
"Um both.
"You have constantly disregard my feelings and this marriage. I'm so tired of this. I need a break.
"What do you mean a break?
"I mean I'm going to go on a little vacation. When I get back we can decide what to to do with this marriage.
"But you're going to miss my games.
"So what? Your football groupies will be there for you.
She gets in a uber and leaves.
Damn, I'm a dumb ass. But it's okay cause I'm going to crash her little vacation away from me. She doesn't understand that I'm going to mess up and she is just got to forgive me.
