(17) like i'm gonna lose you

Hiro p.o.v

i was in my office when i saw one of my co-workers looking gloomy passing by.
i called up to him "hey! dude!"

he was shock and looked at me "y-yes? what is it mister hamada?"
i smile sideway "come here and sit in front of me" i gesture him to come over

he approach and took a sit in front my table "is there something you want to talk about?" he looked down. 
my eyes saddened "yes, we need to talk." i cleared my throat "why are you looking sad?" i looked into his eyes but he looked away.

"u-uh.." he was quite for some time.

"you know, it's oka-"
"no. you need to know why" he suddenly looked at me with serious eyes. umm, okay i guess.

i blinked my eyes several time then gesture him to say what he wanna say.

he sigh "u-uhh my w-wife j-just died. it was a car accident"
"a-ah! i-i'm sorry to bring up this topic. i didn't mean too" i got panicked 

"heh. it's okay. thanks for hearing me out, hiro" he smile sadly
"yeah, no problem."

with that he got up from the chair and leave.

while he was talking, i thought about (y/n). dammit! where's (y/n)!!

i reach my phone and dial her number

(y/n): "hello?".
hiro: "hey (y/n), where are you now?"
(y/n): "i'm at the hotel"
hiro: "are you bussy?"
(y/n): "no, i have the rest of the day off. why?"
hiro: "can i go to your place?"
(y/n): "umm, sure"
hiro: "great! i'll see you in 10 minutes"

i end the call and permitted to tadashi and surprising he let me go.

-skip to the hotel-

i ring the door bell and (y/n) open it.

"hiroo~~" she hugged me tight and i hugged back. 
she looked up to me "aren't you suppose to be working?"
"naah...i missed my girlfriend. beside, tadahsi let me" i smirk and she chuckles.
"then, come on in!"

i let myself in and sit on the couch.

"so why are you here?" (y/n)said bringing some drinks for both of us and put it on the table.
"uh, no reason actually..i just thought that you wont be here for a long time...you're here just because you're playing in a movie, right?" i take the drink and sip it "and it seems...the movie is almost finished, and you need to go back touring around the world...and so on...and so on..." i look down to my lap sadly. 

(y/n) take my hand in hers "hiro..." i looked at her to see her sad eyes "i-i'm sorry hiro" she looked down.

i grab her chin and kiss her passionately. she was shock but kiss me back.

we finally pullback. i stood up from the couch while she still sit on it. i took her hand and look her in the eyes.

"(y/n) (y/l/n), will you marry me?" 

she gasped and hug me tight "yess!! omg hiro! i love you a bunch" 
i hugged her back "woah, i'm really glad you said that. but sorry i still need to find the ring, i kinda figure out how to propose you on my way here" 

he pull away her hand still around my neck "whoa, what?" i smirk
"one of my co-workers's wife just died earlier, and then i thought of you...how i don't wanna ever loose you and really wanna live with you for the rest of my life. how's that sound?" 

"that sounds perfect!" she peck my lips but i pull her kissing her harder. 

(y/n) (y/l/n) is now hiro hamada's fiancee
