Models. When most people hear that word they think of stuck-up skinny white people. In my opinion, everyone matters. No matter the person's career or choices, whether they are a prostitute or lawyer, they deserve equal treatment and respect.
Recently, someone close to me was belittling models, saying that they are 'famous for no reason' or 'have no real work to do'.
Personally, I think modeling would be a very demanding job. Most models have to wake up at early hours to go to shoots and show no sign of tiredness. When they are sick, they either suck it up or lose a gig. They must have photoshoots in clothing that may not fit the weather, such as swim suit photos in the winter. They take these pictures are are constantly judged by photographers, editors, media, etc.
I think every career requires dedication and should be respected, whether or not that job is for you or you see the struggle in it.
