Chapter 8: Zisteau?

Today was one of those days where I'd just stay in bed the whole day if I had nothing going on.

The weather has getting cloudy real quick, with thick, dark clouds spreading across the sky like millions of people racing to meet their favorite celebrity. I slowly got out of my warm bed, and grabbed my blankets then swiftly wrapped myself with it like a cocoon. It realised that it was quite cold for early Spring. I peeped out my window and stared at the sky, trying to predict when it was going to rain.

Then suddenly the rain just randomly poured down and I gasped out a little squeak, not expecting the rain to fall that instantly and heavily. The weather had instantly gotten colder from the rain. I continued to glance at the clouds every now and then, while staring at the ground, where massive puddles were hastily forming then connecting to surrounding puddles to form larger ones.

This is not a good day to get out...I thought. To bad Guude texted us the night before that we had to do our weekly meeting today. Who would want to go out in this cold weather?

I opened up chat and asked everyone if the meeting was still on. Guude replied yes and then everyone was complaining about the journey there running through the drenched rain.

<Guude> Oh come on everyone

<Guude> We cancelled our meeting yesterday remember?

<Guude> We can't cancel today's one too

<SethBling> Guude's right everyone, we can't miss another meeting

<Vechs> Ughh look at the weather guys...

<Jsano19> We've still got to go

The meeting was in a few hours, so I decided to get dressed, I made myself a light breakfast and got ready a bit earlier than usual. I'm that type of person who gets ready hours and hours before the actual thing.

There was still 15 minutes before the meeting so I decided to grab the biggest umbrella I can find and quickly jog over to Bling Towers. Good thing I don't live too far from it.

I got there quite early, as you'd expect and I saw Aurey and Guude. Huh...Aurey's that type of person that gets ready real early too. How cute. We helped Guude set up and a few other people slowly came in, all drenched in the cold stubborn rain.

"Got no umbrella Anderps?" I asked.

"Nope, so I ran along with Docm and Avidya", Anderz replied.

"Fair enough, maybe we can all go under mine when the meeting is finished", I giggled.

"Oh Vaks, all of us squished in under your umbrella? I'd rather run all the way back then walking and still getting rained on," Anderz stated.

"Ok then, your choice", I replied.

2 minutes over time, Guude called everyone to sit.

"I think that's everyone, I'll just count to make sure," Guude spoke loudly, fighting against the rain noise. "Thanks everyone for making it here on this rainy day."

"Uh...21,22,23... Wait 24? That can't be right. I'll count again", Guude said, confused.

"...21,22,23,24 again? We're missing our 25th person", Guude stated.

"I counted 24 too", Seth replied.

"Well that means that we're missing someone then...everyone go look around and see who's missing", Guude commanded.

Everyone got up from their seats and started making guesses.

"MHYKOL?? Maybe Mhykol's missing...ya know", Pak joked.

"Hey...I'm right over here ya goofball", Mhykol exclaimed.

I started looking around. Aurey was here, Chad was here, Zisteau was he- wait...Zisteau? Where did Zisteau go? I thought I saw him earlier...

"ZISTEAU??" I yelled. How can I be such a fool to forget my little Pigderp?

"Wait, is Zisteau missing?" Guude asked, quickly making his way over to me.

"Everyone! We have found out who is missing, it's Zisteau!", Guude announced.

I quickly opened my chat and typed in a message to Zisteau.

<Vechs> Zisteau? Where are you?

<Vechs> Did you forget or something? We're going to start our meeting soon

5 minutes has gone and there was still no reply. All of us began to worry.

"Maybe he didn't see the message? How about we spam chat so that'll he'll see", I suggested.

<SethBling> Zisteau?

<Guude> Zisteau where are you?

<Vechs> Zed? We're going to start without you

<BlameTC> At least tell us why you aren't here

<VintageBeef> Zisteau...

<PauseUnpause> Where are you mate?

A whole bunch of messages were flooding the chat, he must have seen some of it by now...everyone was still trying to get his attention by spamming.

"Ok everyone, I think something has happened to him, since he isn't replying. I'd hate to think of it that way", Guude told everyone.

<Zisteau> Vaks...

A weak Zisteau appeared from nowhere, everybody was instantly surprised and started asking him what had happened.

<Guude> Zisteau? What happened?

<Aureylian> Why aren't you here?

<sevadus> Zisteau where are you?

<AvidyaZEN> Zisteau

<OMGchad> Zisteau?

<Vechs> Omg Zed where are you?

<Zisteau> I'm here Vaks...

<Vechs> Where? Where Zed?

<Zisteau> Here...outside...

"That's it, I'm going to find him", I suddenly said.

"Be Careful out there and tell us when you find him", Guude said hurriedly.

"I hope you find him, Vechs!" Aurey said to me. "Be careful out there with the wind."

I grabbed a raincoat Seth had offered me and opened the door. A big gust of wind blew everything around in Bling Tower. A started running towards Zisteau's house. I didn't care about the thunder or the heavy rain pounding against my body. All I cared about was finding Zisteau. I couldn't just leave Zisteau out there, and I couldn't imagine him lying in the rain lifeless.

"ZISTEAU", I shouted. "ZISTEAU WHERE ARE YOU?!?"

And I just saw a poor little Zisteau crumbled on the hard, stone ground, clutching his leg. He looked so weak just lying there, I immediately sprinted towards him screaming his name.

"ZISTEAU, ZISTEAU WHAT HAPPENED???" I shouted, a few metres away from him.

"Vaks...help me..." He weakly answered, in obvious pain from his facial expression.
