A persons skin

is like a wall,

an outer shell

painted gray.

It blocks others

from seeing

who we really are.

Our skin can teach us

such as

uniformity is unacceptable

however,

we are not accepted

if we are different.

If we go against our skin.

It is believed

that our skin is who we are.

That could not be more wrong.
