Sneha POV

I was sitting on the bed when an unexpected wave of nausea hit me. I quickly stood up and rushed to the washroom. But as soon as I stepped inside, the sensation faded. I leaned against the counter, taking a deep breath to steady myself, when a sharp pain shot through my stomach.

"Could this be because of my period?" I wondered. But another thought struck me like a jolt. I realized, with a sinking heart, that I hadn't had my period since arriving here. A cold shiver ran down my spine as I whispered to myself

"When was the last time?"

Hurrying back to the bedroom, I grabbed my phone and opened my period tracker app. My hands trembled as I scrolled through the dates, my heart racing faster with each second.

"Birdie" came Rudransh's warm, familiar voice. I turned to see him walking into the room, carrying a bag of fresh fruits.

"What are you doing, Birdie?" he asked gently, setting the fruits on the table.

"Where were you?" I asked, my voice unsteady.

"I went to the market to get you some fruits," he replied with a soft smile. And without thinking, I blurted out

"Am I pregnant?"

His smile faded, and his face went pale. My breath caught as a storm of emotions... hope, fear, and uncertainty... clashed within me.

I walked over to him, grabbed his hands, and placed them on my stomach. Meeting his hesitant gaze, I asked again

"Are you hiding something from me?"

Rudransh froze, his eyes darting between my face and my stomach.

"Am I... are we... pregnant?" I whispered, tears pooling in my eyes.

He hesitated for a moment before finally speaking.

"Yes... you're pregnant" he admitted, his voice heavy with emotion.

A whirlwind of feelings overtook me... joy, fear, disbelief. Tears spilled down my cheeks as he gently held my hands.

"We're pregnant, Sneha" he whispered, leaning forward to kiss my forehead.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked, my voice trembling as I tried to process everything.

"I didn't want to scare you" he said softly, his gaze full of concern.

I nodded, trying to understand, but unease weighed heavily on me. "I can't stay here. I need to go home," I said firmly.

His face darkened with worry, but he nodded. "I understand. We'll leave."

"When?" I pressed, desperation evident in my voice.

"Soon" he reassured me, but that wasn't enough.

"No" I cried, my voice breaking.

"I need to leave today. Please Ansh, ask Aman bhaiya to book the tickets. I can't take any risks with our baby."I said and he pulled me into his arms as I broke down.

"We'll leave tomorrow morning" he promised, his voice calm and soothing. I clinged to his shirt, I nodded weakly.

"I just want our normal life back" I whispered through my tears.
