Oh my god I wrote this story a few years ago as an experiment to see what kind of stories get to be popular on this website. And, wow, did it stir up some interesting results. While not wildly popular, it did get some nice charting. I think it was like #15 or something at one point on some list that I can't remember. Wow, though, it is cool to look back at the results on this. Some of you are still reading it and enjoying it, but just realize that this story totally deviates from my typical writing style. Anyways, this was a cool experience. :)
