Logan and I pull back the covers and jump into bed. We cover up in all my blankets and I flick off the lights with the remote. I feel him snuggle up close to me and then his arm goes around my waist. Even though I love having him there, I remember the flirting earlier on this evening. I need to make things clear that there was nothing happening tonight.
"Log" I say, turning so I am now facing him, "I'm serious about nothing happening tonight. We are in someone else's house and we need to respect their rules."
" I know Claire. I don't want anything to happen either. We're just friends anyways."
"If you think we are just friends, then what the fuck was with the fucking flirting at dinner."
"What flirting Claire?" He says, actually looking confused.
"Dude, don't play dumb with me. The nicknames, kissing me on the side of the head? What the fuck that? Some kind of shit you do with every damn girl you just met."
" Claire Calm Down! I was just trying to be nice. I thought we had a connection. Something real. I wouldn't of done that if I didn't like you bee. Damn, I thought you were different!" Log says and then turns around so I'm not facing him any more. I can tell he's upset.
"Listen Log. You're literally the most amazing guy I've met & our relationship is totally different than what I've had with any other person. Like normally, I wouldn't let someone into my bed, cuddle me, go to lunch with me, pick them up from the airport and watch a movie with people who I trust a lot, the first time I've met them. But, if we wanna do this, we have to take it slow. I don't mind the cuddles or the hugs. But, I still have a lot to get to know about you and the same with you knowing me. I love you dude, but we ARE just friends right now, really close friends, but just friends." I plead to him, tears pouring down my face. He turns around & delicately takes his thumb and wipes my tears away.
"Claire, I don't wanna be the guy that makes you cry. I wanna be the guy to wipe your tears & tell your the most beautiful and amazing girl I've met. I love you too, but I agree. Let's get to know each other first. P.S. I might kiss you on the head every now and then in a friendly manner, not in love way." He says to me, with a huge grin from ear to ear. I'm glad I've met this guy.
We cuddle back up with each other and end up spooning for the rest of the night. This might just be, the best day of my life.

Ouuuu! I know shorter chapter, but there was some tension & cuteness in there so fairly amazing chapter! And this is one of the most important chapters so far.
