"Strange murders have been occuring here in Portland," The newscaster reported, "On Beverly lane in house 415 there were two brutal murders, the victims Greg Brock and son Korey Brock. Then in downtown on East Avenue, Rose Brock was murdered," There were pictures of the victims, "Then on the wall at the house in the master bedroom, Go to sleep was written on the wall in one of the victims' blood."
I turned off the T.V, unable to watch anymore.
The murderer must have been delusional, I decided, and walked off to get ready for school.
I walked upstairs and pulled out a red t-shirt and skinny jeans. I slipped out of my t-shirt and shorts and into the outfit, Then head to the bathroom and brush out my hair, which is matted and wavy. I brush my teeth then apply a bit of makeup; applying a bit of eyeliner, foundation, and mascara.
I exit the bathroom and walk downstairs to the livingroom and slip on my black converse hightops.
I head to the kitchen and cook a quick egg, then eat it happily, glad to be filling my stomach. I eat as quick as possible, put my plate in the sink, and check the time, seven-fifteen.
I pull on my white hoodie that said, Go crazy, it's the zombie appocolyps, and had red streaks to resemble scratches. I grab my bookbag and skateboard then walk out the door, being careful to lock it behind me. I sling my bookbag over my shoulders and hop on the skateboard, riding smoothly on the concrete.

I get to the school after fifteen minutes. I skid to a stop and pick up my board, then hurry inside towards my locker. When I get to my locker I shove my board into it, then pull my binder out of my bookbag, shove my bookbag in the compartment and shut the door.
I head down the semi-crowded corridor towards the office. People bump my shoulders but I ignore them, rushed by the urge to be on time to my first hour class.
The door to the office is wide open, so I just walked right in.
Mr. Blankly, the secretary, looks at me, a smile plastered on her face, "How can I help you?"
I unzip , my binder and pull out a rectangular sheet of paper, the permission to the school feild trip, then hand it to her.
She examines the papers quickly, then nods and sets the paper on the desk.
I turn around and walk out of the room, my phone stating the time to be seven-fourty five. I dash to my first hour class. When I enter the room, Mr. Stacey is talking about a book he'd read before.
He looks at me and shakes his head, "Ms. Douglass, please take your seat."
I walk quickly to my seat ,as a few people giggle, and sit. I noticed the room had a small change: Mr. Stacey's desk is moved to the side a bit.
"Time for a pop quiz," Mr. Stacey says smiling.
The people around me groan as Mr. Stacey passes out papers. I recieve my paper.
Twilight by Stephanie Meyer.

Lunch time eventually rolled around, the day going by at an impossibly slow rate. We were just recieving a sack lunch, for we had a feild trip. I sat by the window, Gabriella Duncon on the edge. I nibbled inpatiently on my sandwich, hoping to get there soon, because I can't stand tight spaces.
I pulled out my phone and put my headphones in, then play In the end by Linkin Park. I queitly hum the tune as I eat.
It start with one...
One thing, I don't know why,
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind I designed this rhyme to explain it to time
All I know...
Time is a powerful thing
Watch it fly by as the pangelem swings
Watch it countdown to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away.
