The next morning, I go to visit Jonah, and I see that he's awake. I'm so thrilled, but I can't stop thinking about what Kristin said last night.
I walk into the hospital room and immediately hug him. He kisses my cheek before I pull away from the hug. Then, I tell him everything he missed.
"Wow, Kristin really said that to you?" He asks.
"Yea," I clarify, and look down at my feet.
"Do you believe her?" He questions.
"I don't know... maybe? He seemed a little jealous but whatever. I mean I invited you to tag along, he couldn't have known I was going to, right?" I answer.
"I can believe it," he says.
"What?" I ask.
"I believe it. Aiden has always given me this weird vibe. Maybe it was just that I liked you, but still. He freaked me out," he explains.
"I don't know what to do," I mumble.
"Hey, just remember you have me," he replies, then gently turns my head, and kisses me softly.
"Should I confront him?" I question as I pull away.
"Yes, but I'm coming just to be safe," Jonah answers.
"No, then he won't come," I reply.
"Fine, just call me when you get there, and when you leave, okay?" he states.
"Okay," I say, and then kiss him.

That night, I head over to Aiden's place. Is there a chance he might not be home? Yeah. Is there a chance that Kristin was lying? Yeah. Is there a chance he could hurt me? Yeah, but hopefully he doesn't.
I knock on the door, and almost immediately his mom opens it.
"Hi dear," she greets me, and steps out of the way so I can walk inside.
"Could I talk to Aiden?" I ask.
"I shouldn't let you, he asked me not to, but I think you're the only one who can get him to open up. Just holler if you need me, alright?" She replies.
"Yeah, of course," I answer, and then head to his room. I knock at his door, and then walk on in. He's sitting on his bed, just staring at the wall.
"Hey," I mumble, and he looks over at me.
"W-what are you doing here?" He questions, sliding off his bed, and standing up.
"I want answers, and I want them now," I state, crossing my arms. God, I sound like a five year old brat who wants a barbie dream house and if she doesn't get it she's running away.
"About what?" He asks, and crosses his arms, mocking me.
"This is not a joke! You tried to kill Jonah and me! What the heck! Aiden, c'mon!" I shout.
"What the heck are you talking about? And please be quiet my mom is tired," he replies, and uncrosses his arms.
"You tried to kill Jonah and I in the car accident. You only let him in so you could kill us both, right? Two in one!" I state.
"Why would I want to kill the most beautiful girl in the world?" He asks, cupping my face, but I slap his hand away.
"Kristin told me everything! How even your own mother thinks you're sick! You're just a stupid, jealous boy and I hate you!" I scream.
"Please, calm down, and let me explain," he says, and I take a deep breath.
"Fine," I whisper.
"I was jealous, yes. I thought you and I were reconnecting but then I saw you talking to him. Then, you invited him to our lunch plans, which I had even bought a special gift for you and I was going to ask if you wanted to be my girlfriend," he pulls out a crushed necklace with a little heart pendant that's now broken.
