Pics are of jades tattoos. I couldn't find the exact bird tattoo but you should get the idea.

"Jade Edwards, please come to the principals office."

After the announcement the whole class started whispering, wondering what I did this time. This happened at least once a day. I was honestly surprised I hadn't been kicked out yet. You see, some people call me a troublemaker, punk, badass, you name it, it's completely normal for someone like me to exist, except in this preppy private school I stood out a bit more than usual. With my blacked ripped skinny jeans, band shirts, battered up converse, long brown wavy hair (since I hated it being neat and tidy), my tattoos (I had a trail of birds starting from my right hip, up across my stomach, below my left breast, around to my back, up my shoulder and ending on my left collarbone. A small anchor on the back of my heel that said 'i refuse to sink', a quote on inner right arm that said 'we're all mad here', and on my left wrist i had the symbols for stop, skip, play, pause and shuffle on an ipod. I had ear piercings (quite a few up the length of my right ear and three on my left) I stood out like a giraffe in a herd of zebras. I was hated pretty much everyone here, the girls called me a freak, and I had gotten into quite a few fights with guys, kicking there asses of course). I also had a habit of pissing off teachers, swearing, smoking and skipping school. So as I headed out the door of my classroom and made my way down to the principals office no one was surprised, just curious. I had done many things to teachers and students to earn this reputation I had. Pulling fire alarms, swearing at teachers, getting into fights, graffiti anything you could get in trouble for I had done. This time I glued all of the principals paperwork to the ceiling, I did it when I got out of detention last night.

I knocked on Mr Alexander's door and heard a gruff 'come in'.
As I walked in I smirked when I saw his flustered face.
"I'm sure you know why you're here miss Edwards." He stated.

"No, sir I honestly don't." I replied coolly acting innocent was one way to get him worked up.

"Miss Edwards kindly explain why my paper work was stuck to the ceiling when I came in this morning." He said, the frustration radiating off his body.

"Maybe it flew up there and got stuck." I said matter of factly.

"Jade Edwards I have given you too many chances. You will not make a fool of me in my own school. The last three times you pulled a stunt like this I told you, one more time and your out." He rambled clearly getting more and more pissed.

"So what's your point?" I asked

"Jade you are officially expelled. Now please exit my office." He said calmly.

"Ah finally, it took you long enough. Now I really couldn't give two fucks so I'm gonna leave now! Bye see you in hell!" I smiled and walked out of the school.

I decided to have a quick smoke, then go for a walk. I know your probably wondering what about my parents. Well, my mum died 5 years ago and my dad is an alcoholic who's normally passed out on the couch. My older brother Jason is 24 and he has his own place, I would move in with him but his place is really small and he has his gross friends over ALL the time. Don't get me wrong I love my brother but he fucks around with the wrong crowd.

I decided to listen to some green day, blink 182, nirvana, all time low, Panic at the disco and my chemical romance, on my walk. Now that I was expelled from crestwood high I would have to go to the other high school, on the other side of town, Eastwood. Yeah, I could just drop out of school, but I wanted to graduate so I could at least get a job. believe it or not I wasn't bad at school no I wasn't a straight a nerd but I wasn't failing. I got b's and c's in most of my classes, not purposely of course, I did wing it most of the time. Music was the only class I liked, you can be good at stuff but that doesn't necessarily mean you enjoy it.

I took a detour and decided I would visit Jason as he didn't work on Tuesdays. So I walked down to his apartment complex. It wasn't far, maybe a 20 minute walk tops. I got in the elevator and pressed the 4th floor. I then knocked on door 346. It swung open.

"Jay! How's it goin little sis? Why aren't you in school?" He exclaimed, me and him were always really close.

"Not bad Jase, other than the fact I just got fucking expelled." I replied nonchalantly.

"It was bound to happen any day now, what did you do?" He asked, as I said he wasn't surprised either.

So I told him the story, he had a good laugh about it too. You were probably thinking he would be angry, upset even but just like me he never really cared for school that much, he was really cool with everything except he was pretty protective. I ended up spending the rest of the day there and then at 10.00 I decide to head home.
---------------------------------
When I got home I found my father passed out on the couch AGAIN. You would think it sucks to have a dad who's knocked out most of the time but trust me its loads better when he's asleep. You see it all started when my mum died. He got into drinking then became abusive, he still is but I try to avoid him when he's awake at all costs. He is drunk 99.9% of the time when he does it and the 0.1% of the time he's sober he drives to the bar to get drunk.

I went upstairs took a shower and got everything ready for school tomorrow. Yep, Jason the son of a bitch he is, insisted that I start tomorrow at Eastwood high. Ugh, judgemental teenagers with even more judgemental teachers. Great.

I quietly sneak downstairs and grab an apple, that would have to do for dinner tonight.

I went back up to my room, it's walls were painted black and there were about a million band posters, and got into my double bed. I felt myself drifting away until I fell asleep, dreading the next day.
