Chapter 9: Pre-Wedding Night

{Daniel's POV}

So, this is it, Joey has come out as gay on his 24th birthday, his book has been released, Shane is all healed, and now, it's July 22nd, the day. before our wedding. As the rules call for, you're not allowed to see your significant other for 24 hours before the ceremony. So I'm going over to my buddy Jacob's house while Joey stays here with Shane.

Daniel: Joey babe! I'm leaving! Come give me a kiss!

Joey started sprinting down the stairs. I dropped my things and he jumped into my arms, wrapping his legs around my waist. He gave me a long kiss.

Joey: Do you really have to leave?

Daniel: Tradition Joey! I'll see you tomorrow baby, all handsome in your tuxedo. I'm gonna miss you.

Joey: Me too, can you call me tonight at around 11?

Daniel: Of course Joey.

He rested his forehead on mine, then planted a soft kiss on my lips.

Joey: I love you so much Daniel.

Daniel: I love you too Joey.

We got lost in each others eyes when Jacob starting honking.

Daniel: That's Jacob. See ya later Joey! Bye Shane!

Joey: Bye baby! I love you!

Shane: Bye Daniel!

I ran out the door, blowing a kiss to Joey, then I got in Jacob's car and we headed to his house.

{Joey's POV}

Daniel has left, and now it's just my main boys Shane and Wolf!

Shane: So Joey, we have the house to ourselves. What do you wanna do today/tonight?

Joey: Well, you and I could shoot a video! We haven't made a Shoey video in a long time. We owe them one!

Shane: True! But what should we do?

Joey: We could do a poppin cookin on my channel! But what on yours?

Shane: Hmmm.... what's so crazy even Shoey would do it?.... PLASTIC SURGERY!

Joey: Umm... I'm not getting plastic surgery you psychopath!

Shane: Haha no! We would use tape!... You'll see Joey.

Joey: Ok I trust you... Sometimes.

We both laughed and then went out to the store to find stuff for our video.

{Daniel's POV}

Jacob and I were sitting down on his couch watching TV, eating Inside Out Burger for dinner, because I can't eat it with Joey, he calls it the devil. I opened my laptop and I saw a new video from Joey "POPPIN COOKIN! WITH SHANE!" I opened it and watched it, seeing Joey's face and hearing him makes me really happy.

Daniel: Jacob?

Jacob: Yeah?

Daniel: Do you think watching Joey's video qualifies as seeing him before the wedding?

He laughed at my joke.

Jacob: You gotta see him in person to break the tradition! I think you'll be ok.

We both laughed, and I continued to watched Joey's video. When it was done, I watched Shane's, where they did some plastic surgery thing. I really do enjoy watching my Joey be happy. I looked at my watch and I was 10:55.

Daniel: Excuse me Jacob. I gotta go call Joey now. I'll be back down in a little bit.

Jacob: Ok.

I sprinted up the stairs to the guest bedroom and I dialed his number.

{Joey's POV}

It's 10:55. Daniel SAID he was going to call by at least 11. I hope he lives up to his promise! Shane and I were watching a movie when my phone went off. Daniel was calling me.

Joey: Oh, Shane. I gotta take this.

Shane: Alright!

I went into another room and answered the phone.

Joey: Hey babe!

Daniel: Hey! I missed you!

Joey: I missed you more. So, what have you been up to all day?

Daniel: Well, Jacob and I have just been chilling. We got Inside Out Burger for dinner and...

Joey: YOU ATE THE DEVIL?!

Daniel: *snickers* Oh Joey... This is why I love you. So, what have you and Shane been doing? I did see you two made a video! I've already watched them.

Joey: Awe you did! Thank you! Anyways, we took Wolf out for a walk, Shane brought over Corny from Lisa's and they had a play date! And Shane and I went to Urth Café for some nom-noms!

Daniel: You had an interesting day!

*(A few hours later)*

Joey: Well Daniboy, I'm tired... I'm gonna go to bed now ok?

Daniel: Yeah that's ok. I'll see you tomorrow. I love you Joey.

Joey: Love you too. See you tomorrow... My future husband.

Daniel: Bye Joey!

Joey: Bye!

Hang up.

{Daniel's POV}

RING! 7:30am. Alarm clock goes off. I sit up and check my phone.

Daniel: Oh my god... I can't believe I'm getting married to Joey Graceffa.

{Joey's POV}

Joey: Oh my god... I can't believe I'm getting married to Daniel Preda.
