Jason Childs is one of the main raft boys at Diamondhead Resort. He had been Chris' best friend since the Kelley family moved to Oklahoma. He is the only one of the raft boys that doesn't drink to get drunk and is more serious and quiet. As he grew up in school he was the trouble maker who always got into fights. At the age of 12 he was taken in by the Kelley Family and lived and worked for them. Kara is intimidated by Jason.
