"I think you should start looking at colleges you should've done that last year, but you'd rather stay cooped up in the kitchen doing what, 'being the world's greatest chef.' You need to think about a job that is actually realistic." A tall man glared at his son. Kunal glared right back.
" Just because you're the CEO for a company everyone in this family works for doesn't mean I have to be. You never have excepted that I don't want what you want. I want to be different. All of this doesn't matter anymore because I'm leaving." He slammed the door of their house and was gone he didn't care where he was going as long as he didn't stay there.
His family was all into finance and junk. He hated his family all they cared about was money and all he wanted was happiness. He loved cooking, it seemed to be the only thing to make him happy. He had learned how to cook at a young age from their servant. She was a kind old lady but sadly she had left the boy when he was 13 he hadn't found another person like her ever. She taught him how to cope with the outside world and with his inner thoughts. He wasn't very good though.
"Why? Why did you have to go? It makes no since to me. Nothing does anymore." He closed his crystal eyes for a moment and thought really hard. "Why did that boy get freaked out today? All I did was help him. Did I scare him? I know I'm tall but still."
"Don't you think it was the whole experience that scared him. The boy obviously gets treated that way every day." A creature no bigger than a penny sat on his shoulder. "Also don't you think you should open your eyes." Kunal opened his eyes and focused on the road.
"Maybe I should apologize. What do you think Dalin?" He cocked his head a little. She lifted her tiny arms and stretched.
"I think your subconscious did the thinking for you." She nodded her head in the direction of a strange looking house. Kunal jumped up a little in surprise and looked at the place. It was huge no doubt about that but look at the garden. The garden which contained a wide variety of plant life. Some of the plants normally wouldn't even be able to survive in this climate but are thriving in the garden. The house on the other hand didn't have much charm. The house only contained colors of black and gray.
"Are you going to go in or are you going to sit here all day and gawk?" The tiny creature pushed the boy as hard as she could. "Now go on." Kunal got out of his car and walked slowly through the gates trying to take in everything. Dalin followed closely behind.
Once they stepped foot on the otherside of the gates the atmosphere changed. It was lighter and slight whispers filled the surrounding air. He knew there were mystical creatures in here he could not only hear but sense them. He walked up to the porch and knocked on the door then rang the doorbell.
"One minute!" A small squeak came from inside. Then the door flung open and therthere stood an underdressed flustered Khaim. His school uniform was tossed carelessly on the floor. All he wore was a black T-shirt and some ripped skinny jeans. Kunal had never seen him this way, sure the boy had just met him but he had known about the boy for a long time now.
The boys ears stood up and his tail spiked. "Wh-what... are ..you... doing here?" Khaim seemed a bit out of breathe and a slight sweat covered his brow. Could he have been..? I'm not sure and I don't care to ask, although it would be funny to see him squirm.
"Thought I'd drop by and say sorry for scaring you." Kunal's eyes sparkled with mischief. "So why are you red, out of breath, and sweating?"
"Oh, um, I was working out." A nervous giggle escaped his mouth. He looked away and blushed. "So uhm you want to come in." His tail swished in the air intriguingly.
"Sure why not." Kunal stepped into the house. He stood in the door way and looked around before completely entering. He smelt a slight minty fragrance.
" Sorry if I worried you, but no one has ever helped me before so it kinda freaked me out a bit. Um do you want tea?" He seemed a bit different a little more skittish.
"Sure. This is a really nice place." He glanced over at Khaim and caught his deathly cold silver eyes. His blonde hair fell delicately over his smooth skin. He blushed and quickly looked away hiding it.
"I-I'll go get your tea then." His tail flicked the air quickly then wrapped around his thigh. He pranced off quickly into the kitchen.
He seems different now that he is at his house alone. I wonder. I want to know you, all of you. Khaim, who are YOU?
