(Kunal's POV)
I grabbed the last remaining items in my room and got in the moving van. I sighed and started the vehicle. I was ready to get to my new apartment. It felt nice knowing I was leaving my father.
It didn't take me long to get there. It was huge and nice. I set everything up as quick as I could then I realized I had left something way more important than anything I had here. I left Dalin. I hopped in the van and drove it back to the moving company then grabbed my keys and left.
When I arrived at my old home I saw a very pissed off Dalin. He arms were crossed and she was fuming. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to leave you."
"It's fine just don't do it again." She floated over to my shoulder and sat there. I was just about to leave when I heard feet beating the ground. It sounded really close. I turned around and saw Khaim running up to my car. His tail was spiked and his ears were flat. He was pissed.
"Can I live with you?" My eyes widened and I just sat there shocked.
"What do you mean?"
"I hate my family and I don't want to be there anymore than I have to."
"Um I guess, but I'll need to you some clothes and a bed." His eyes lit up and his tail flickered.
"Ok. Thank you so much. You're the best." Did he really forget what I just did to him or does he not care?
"About earlier, I didn't mean.."
"It's fine. I know you could sense I had been doing something so it's fine." A small hardly noticeable smirk snuck its way onto his face. He slid in the car and looked at Dalin. "She's a cutie. Where'd you get her?"
"She just came to me one night and she decided to stay so." I drove off in the direction of my new home. He stayed quiet most of the time something seemed to be troubling him. He looked saddened and I wanted to make him feel better. When we arrived he got excited and ran to the door and waited in me to get there.
I unlocked the door and he went in. He ran everywhere looking at everything. His smile was so sweet. He had a single bad around his body. "Hey what's that?"
"Oh its my uniform. And a pair of underwear." He slightly blushed." All I could smell was hormones.
"I'll be right back." I closed my eyes as I spoke, then bolted to the bathroom. Once I got in I opened my eyes. Dammit. My eyes had gone from a radiant crystal blue to a deadly poisonous green. I hated it so much. My head started to ache and so did my back. I groaned in pain as to pointed ears unfurled from my head and a huge thick tail sprouted from my back.
"Hey, uhm, Kunal you ok?" He sounded quite worried.
"Yes..my head...it just hurts. I think I'm just going to take a quick bath ok?"
"Alright. Do you mind if I continue to look around?"
"No you're fine kid." I turned on the water and grabbed a towel. I placed the towel on the toilet. I slowly took off my shirt and glared at myself. "I need to calm down before I loose it." The symbol on the side of my body was glowing with anticipation. It wanted me to loose myself again and that would never happen.

--------------------------------------------------------------- (Flashback)

"My mother? You're joking right? He wouldn't dare!" I glared at my father.
"No I do not lie son. I promised not to tell you but I did. I hope he forgives me. He is not a good enemy to have." I felt a slight pain then that pain grew. Two black fluffy ears sprung from my skull and a black tail slithered from my back.
"I could care less about what kind of enemy his is!! He killed my mother!!" Then everything went black. The next thing I knew my father was scolding me and told me I almost killed someone to that day I've never lost my cool.

-------------------- (flashback ended)

I could feel the darker side of me disappearing deep inside me again. I felt better. I can't expose him to the true beast inside I could kill someone I love dearly. So for now I will forget the past
