reliance on the integrity, strength,ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing;confidence.

Its funny how you can "trust" someone
And the next moment that trust is gone

Trust needs to build
After years and years, thats trust is gone
A waste of time really
You thought you had a bond with someone for years but you honestly didnt know them at all

You thought everything was good
But after a couple words and few days
You drift
You drift away from that person because that is the right thing
Sadly enough, many of those years werent wasted
They were just a fill for something greater to come

Happiness
You become more of yourself
They made you feel like you had a burden on your back
They made you make assumptions about people just based on what they said

They changed your view on other people
They made you feel locked down
They made you feel like everything was your fault
They made you feel bad without you saying anything because you were afraid

One situation has been on my mind forever even if it wasnt a "big deal"
I cant stop thinking about it
Because i thought i was someone you could put your trust in
You talk to people you've known for months more than me
I thought i was special
I thought i was someone important
But im just like everyone else in your life
A "friend"
The word best friend is thrown around so much id rather just be called a friend
Best friend is supposed be something thats special
Not for someone youve known for less than a year who you just talk to everyday yet they know nothing about you
But i am no longer afraid
I have come to realize that letting go is the best thing

That trust is lost, and may not come again

Sorry that this poem is extremely long and may seem jumpy. This week has been hell with my feelings and i think ive lost my trust in someone close to me.
