Blue.

The view wasn't vast, but that was all that met my vision once I fluttered my eyes open. For a moment, I was in a daze. All that appeared before my eyes was the lazuline hue, and nothing else.

A new day. I thought to myself.

I closed my eyes once again and began reminiscing, starting from whatever had transpired the day earlier to striving to realise where I presently was. I opened my eyes and looked up, a ceiling of gray, cracked and tattered at places, dust spread all over. I drew my brows closer in confusion, the view in front of me providing no clear information about my surroundings.

Where am I?

I chose to get up, slowly steading myself. But as I struggled, it wasn't even a few seconds when my head gave a sudden jolt, a sharp pain shooting up and tingling my nerves. I groaned at it, straightening myself up and easing my back against the surface of whatever enclosed me.

I couldn't think straight, nor could I align my thoughts well. They were all over the place at that moment.

Placing my fingers upon the surface, I massaged my temples and my forehead, hoping for the pain to go away. It was clearly hoping against hope, as the pain was thoroughly internal. But I tried my best.

I always tried.

It could've been a good fifteen minutes already when I felt the ache slightly subside and chose to look around. One look and finally, I knew where I was.

A car.

More specifically, Hongjoong's car.

For the past few days, I had learnt the interior of his vehicle too well. There could be no question about this. Looking down, I found my legs covered with the same blanket that I had happened to see almost everytime we travelled by his car. The windows were shut and the inside seemed warm and snug. My gaze immediately averted to the driver's seat but it was empty.

Hongjoong wasn't there.

I didn't know what to think of at first, but curiosity definitely got the best of me. My body ached at several places, but still I pushed the blanket away and placed my legs on the floor of the vehicle. With an effort, I opened the door of the car and finally stepped outside.

I found myself standing by the bridge, the bridge so clear to my knowledge.

I sighed.
