It was the time of midnight and the clock was showing 2:45. The lights were turned off and two three small dim lights were glowing.

It seemed like a deep, enchanting intoxication had embraced the entire room. Every corner and the walls were wrapped in a silent, dreamy haze.

The wind blew away the curtains of the room revealing two figures in the middle of the bed, one of a man and the other of a woman. Their presence melted into the air like a beautiful painting.

Each breath, they shared, became a trembling echo in the hush of the night. Every breath they exchanged drifted like a whisper in the air, as if their souls spoke in sighs. Their silent conversation echoed like a secret longing between two hearts.

They were none other than Devadriptya and Varshini.

Some moments ago, Varshini opened her eyes up suddenly and caught her husband red handed. He was looking at her all the time with those desire filled eyes while she was sleeping.

His eyes behold those unspoken verses which his lips didn't dare to utter. Every unsaid word, every silent breath he held, reflected with clarity in the depths of his eyes.

Today, everything was clear to her, there was no amount of doubt. In the depths of his eyes, she felt every emotion which he always carried for her.

Those silent storms of desire, longing, and love, unfolding like a dream from which she never wished to wake up.

"Aap hume aise chhup chhup kiyun ke dekhte rehte hai hamesha?" (Why do you always look at me like this hiding everyone's eyes)

Varshini broke the silence after sometime.

"Kiyun ki apse nazrein hatana hamare bas mein nehi! Nasha hai ye apka. Jo chhutta hi nehi" (Because I don't have the power to resist my eyes from looking at you. Your presence works like an intoxication to me. I am unable to leave your habit)

His words always carried something so heavy and raw emotions in them which could melt anyone magically.

"You don't wanna sleep?"

She asked which didn't make any changes in him.

"Before you came into my life, I used to skip my sleep because of work but now I skip it to watch you all night"

Devadriptya spoke dreamily.

"Aap batein bohot achchi bana lete hai" (You have a nice way to impress others)

"Abh isme hamara kya dosh ki aap har bar hamari baton mein fas jati hai?" (You fall for my words, what's my fault in this)

She shook her head at his comment and was about to turn her body to the opposite side when his words stopped her movements.

"You don't know how addicting you are!"

He complemented making her look at him for some time.

"When I first came here, I used to think, you don't talk much or you are a kind of reserved person but now I feel, I need to change my assumptions"
