s soon as Prachi learned that Ranbir had been shot, she immediately cut her trip to Chandigarh short and rushed back. Without wasting a moment, she headed straight to the hospital, her heart pounding with fear and desperation.
The doctor informed her that Ranbir was now stable—the bullet had been removed, and he was out of danger. Relief washed over her, but it was short-lived. When she discovered that it was Anurag who had shot him, a surge of fury exploded within her.
Her hands clenched into fists, and her chest heaved with anger as she tried to process the betrayal. The man she had trusted had done the unthinkable, and now Ranbir had paid the price.
Prachi's hands trembled as she stood in the sterile hospital corridor, her mind racing to piece together the chaos. Anurag? She couldn't believe it. The man she had once trusted had betrayed them in the most unthinkable way. Anger surged through her like a wildfire, but it was quickly replaced by worry as her eyes darted to the room where Ranbir lay.
She stormed into the room, her heels clicking against the floor, and froze at the sight of him. Ranbir looked pale, the bandage on his chest stark against his tanned skin, but his eyes fluttered open when he heard her enter. Relief and guilt collided in her heart.
Prachi carefully wrapped her arms around him, mindful not to aggravate his wound. Ranbir responded by holding her close with one hand, his palm gently rubbing circles on her back. She broke down, sobbing quietly into his chest, her tears soaking into his shirt.
Ranbir : " Jaan I am fine please stop crying it is hurting me " he said gently caressing her hairs Prachi pulled back and sobbed whipping her tears she kissed his forehead
Prachi : " I was so scared when I heard you have been injured please be safe Ranbir I can't go through the same fear and panic again please " she said he smiled at her worried face he cupped her cheek
Ranbir : " I am fine and please stop worrying now " he said in his gentle tone to comfort her and calm her down
Ranbir: "Jaan, I'm fine. Please stop crying; it hurts me to see you like this," he said softly, caressing her hair.
Prachi pulled back, her face stained with tears. She wiped them hastily and kissed his forehead, her lips trembling.
Prachi: "I was so scared when I heard you were injured. Please, Ranbir, promise me you'll be safe. I can't go through that fear and panic again," she said, her voice breaking.
He smiled at her worried face, his heart aching at her concern. Cupping her cheek, he gently brushed away her tears.
Ranbir: "I'm fine, Prachi. And I promise I'll be careful. But now, please stop worrying," he said in a gentle tone, trying to calm her.
She nodded slowly, her fear easing slightly with his comforting words. But as the memory of Anurag flashed through her mind, anger surged within her, replacing her earlier vulnerability.
