"Leahey that paper you wrote is magnificent. The way you explained how society is as a whole was so perfectly put together." As I sat in My seat in Mrs.Kales English all can do is smirk. I found it hilarious how speaking the truth is magnificent when its shouldn't be as special as she called it.
But that's exactly what I mean when I said society is terrible. No one should be awed by my paper because all I did was write the truth. Is it really that hard to speak the truth nevertheless write it?
That was a rethorical question don't answer it.
The the main reason no body tells the truth
Is because of the ConsequencesIt's pretty simple.
If your afraid of the consequences then don't do anything to deserve it.
Punshiment is punishment and if you can't handle the burn you caused then don't do anything stupid. But then again were all humans it's hard to no do anything stupid because it occurres on a daily basis.
But as human beings we should all have some common sense. For example the dumb blonde stereotype, it's a stereotype because they made it one by not choosing to use the education and common sense they were taught. And it so happens that blondes are well known to not use them the most.
Except for me, mad? Get over it because the bullshit I'm saying right now is probably ninety percent true. Ninety because It doesn't mean just because I don't add on to the dumb blonde stereotype mean I'm the smartest person in the world or in my vicinity right now, and I'm sure if somebody heard my thoughts they would surely try to make a rebuttal. But back to the regular world as for now.
"Well thank you but I hardly think that speaking the truth deserves that much credit." Mrs. Kale rolled her eyes with a little smile on her face. "But it does, with a mind like yours I can see it taking you places, speaking your thoughts on the world would cause people to reconsidered how they act for sure." I was all for speaking my opinion but speaking my opinion in front of several hundred people is a no for me I'm courageous but not to that feat. So I immediately had to let her know I knew what she was trying to do. "Are you trying to sell me to the sharks, repeat my words that I wrote on a piece of paper to nine hundred kids. Listen it wasn't even that special I'm sure other kids wrote something way better than mines, please harass them." I was on the verge of panicking, the last time I spoke in front of the whole student body it didn't turn out right. It made me change my view on the world and especially my view on love.
"Don't you think your denying it a little to quickly. I'm sure they would appreciate what you had to say, I just want students to realize that what they do isn't okay and having an adult telling them constantly isn't working, Leahey I can't make you do it out of force but please reconsider." With my eyes hard, I stared at her prepared to say no but like always I cracked under her intense pleading stare. What can I say I'm a sucker. ". . . Just give me a few days to think about it." I said weakly my resolve weakening every second. Mrs.Kale beamed and walked away leaving me the only one left in the classroom where I can wallow in memories.
Past
Leahey was so excited, it was her and Bensons sixth month anniversary and she had the biggest surprise. She was going to announce to the whole school her love for him, presents and all it was going to be perfect.
With her presents she bought for Benson in hand she went on the stage, it was lunch so all the students were either eating or talking to they're friends while the other few students looked at Leahey in curiosity obviously wondering why she was on the stage with a bag in her hand.
