A weird sense of silence fell upon the two friends when Aylin closed the door behind her.
"I think she left"
Clair said,
"Yeah, I think so too"
Violet replied.
Clair sighed, wishing she could complain.
She was so fed up with Aylin's sudden disappearance at the most random moments.
"What now?"
Violet asked while lying on the bed and stretching her arms.
"Shall we go check on her?"
Clair said while walking towards the door.
Once she opened it, she had to face the sight of the one man she was not expecting.
Ezra was still standing there when she slammed the door closed, which did startle him.
"What is it?"
Violet got up and asked.
Yet from that red face, she could immediately tell what was going on.
Ezra's smile could not be held back, after all, that reaction was not very expected.
The knight made his way back once he delivered what he was there for, leaving behind a frustrated heart.
In the middle of Kardia's heart, a house took a place a little farther than the marketplace.
Evan walked past the crowds, making her way through.
She looked pretty unrecognisable in that pretty white dress and black corset.
Right after making her way towards the house, she rushed to open the door.
"Am home, Delia"
She shouted in excitement.
Her face lit up once she met the eyes of her older sister.
She ran to hug her, since they have not seen each other for a couple of weeks.
"I missed you, Evan,"
Delia whispered.
"Me too"
She replied.
The inside of the house looked very neat, clean, and expensive.
After all, she put all of her sweat and blood into creating a safe space for her one and only family.
"Sit down, I will make some tea"
Delia said.
Evan, who used to worry about everything was very happy to see her sister doing the things she likes on her own without feeling like a burden even though the thought never crossed the mind of her little sister.
The house was especially designed for Delia.
Everything was within her reach while she crawled on the soft carpet that went on, covering the rough ground.
"How was work?"
Delia asked.
"Tiring, actually I can only stay for today"
Evan said.
"What? But you only came back now?"
Delia said complaining.
"I know, things are getting busy, but I will try my best to get done with it the soonest"
She smiled, replying, hoping her words would reassure her sister.
