That night, Delia's mind was a mess of emotions as she lay in her bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.

The events of some hours ago kept replaying in her head like a broken record, each word, each gesture, each revelation cutting deeper into her soul.

She felt like she was drowning in a sea of uncertainty, with no lifeline in sight. The brothers' words echoed in her mind, haunting her.

You were promised to us.

A contract.

Mafia.

Her thoughts were tangled together in fear, anxiety, and confusion. She couldn't wrap her head around the fact that her family, her uncle, had been involved with the mafia all along.

And now, she was trapped in this world, bound by a stupid promise made decades ago.

She tossed and turned, restless. How could this be happening? Why had her uncle kept this secret from her? And what did it mean for her future?

Soon, she threw off the covers and got out of bed, pacing back and forth in her room; she needed to do something, quickly.

She felt like a caged animal, trapped and helpless. The Collymore brothers seemed to hold all the cards.

As she paced, her thoughts turned to the twins. Could she trust either of them? Or were they both just playing her, lying to her, using her for their own purposes?

Delia stopped pacing and stood in front of the window, staring out into the darkness. Would she be able to escape this place or would she be trapped here forever?

I just wanted a little freedom.

She stood there, a single tear rolled down her cheek, followed by another, and another.

Delia felt like she was shattering into a million pieces, her world and dreams crumbling.

And now, even that seems impossible.

She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. She needed to think clearly, to come up with a plan. But for now, she just cried, allowing herself to feel the pain, the fear, and the uncertainty of what her future held.

Why?

Why did this happen to her?

Why did her uncle keep this secret from her?

Why did the Collymore brothers want her so badly?

"I hate them." As her tears streamed down her face, Delia whispered a single word, over and over again.

The heavy silence in the dining room was cloaked, broken only by the faint clinking of cutlery against the plates as Luan and Muraco sat at the long dinning table.

Muraco leaned back in his chair, a faint smirk playing on his lips as he sipped his black coffee. His uncaring demeanor was totally different from Luan's simmering frustration who had barely touched his food, his fork scraping absently against his plate as he glared at his twin from across the table.

"She hasn't come down," Luan finally broke, his tone sharp. "Are you satisfied now?"

Muraco set his coffee cup down with a soft clink, his gaze meeting Luan's. "She needed to know the truth," he spoke, his voice calm but firm.
