You sat up in bed and rubbed your tired eyes before groaning as the golden rays of the sun that came through the gap between the curtains hit your eyes.

It seemed that your girlfriend was bothered by the sun as well as she stirred in her sleep, turning over onto her stomach so she could bury her face in the pillow and block it out.

At first, you cracked a smile but then you looked at the clock on the nightstand and went wide-eyed when you saw the time.

All this time, you figured that you'd woken up before the alarm you set last night went off but it seems that you and Manon just slept through it instead because you had to be out the door in only a few minutes to meet up with the girls.

"Manon!" You said before shaking her shoulder. "Baby, wake up. We have to get up and get going."

She groaned before lifting her head from the pillow.

"What?" She groggily asked, barely awake.

"We slept through the alarm I set. We're supposed to meet the girls for breakfast in a few minutes."

She rolled onto her back and yawned before rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

"They won't mind if we're a few minutes late."

"I know but we don't want to be an hour late."

She just hummed as her eyes slipped shut again.

You understood that she was tired because you were feeling the same way.

You probably should've fallen asleep earlier than you did last night but it was hard to get to sleep when you finally had some time to spend together and found yourselves wrapped up in each other and the passionate makeout you were sharing.

It sounded much more exciting than sleep did but now you're both paying for it by sleeping so soundly you missed your alarm and were starting to run late.

"Come on, lazy girl." You joked as you shook her shoulder.

"I'm not lazy, I'm sleepy." She mumbled.

"I am too but we still have things to do. We all agreed that we wanted to take a while to catch up together, all seven of us since you all finally have some time off."

"I know." She yawned again before sitting up. "Guess we should've gone to bed earlier."

"Where's the fun in that?" You asked and Manon caught a glimpse of your smirk as she opened her eyes.

A giggle escaped her lips before she looked you up and down, taking a few seconds to admire the sight of you in one of her favorite shirts.

But what caught her eye more than that was what was all over your neck.

The love bites that she left behind as she showered you with love, nearly worshipping you with every praise and word of love that left her lips and fell against your skin last night.

It was clear to see what you had been up to and she knew it was going to be hard to cover up but she just couldn't help but laugh.

"What?"

She shook her head, trying to hide her smile.

"Come on, tell me. What's so funny?" You laughed along with her, the sound too infectious not to join in on.

"Nothing really," She said before biting her lip.

Moving your hair back, she leaned in and whispered in your ear.

"You have hickeys all over your neck."

She pulled back with a smirk while you gasped.

You moved to reach for your hand mirror in the drawer of your nightstand and when you did so, her shirt slipped up your body, exposing the love bites she left in other areas as well.

"Damn, I really left a lot of them." She said as she reached out to touch one on your stomach.

You looked at your neck in the mirror and then looked at your girlfriend in surprise.

"That's so many!"

"I guess we did get carried away last night." She said as you put the mirror back. "They don't hurt, right?"

"No, but they're very noticeable. I'm going to have a hard time covering them."

"Maybe that's a sign that you should leave them uncovered." She suggested with a bright smile.

You shook your head with a smile and took her hands into yours.

"I love you so much and you know I love it when you give me hickeys."

She smirked and nodded her head, only to giggle as you playfully hit her arm.

"But I like what we do to stay private. Especially because the girls would never stop teasing us and if your company found me covered in hickeys all over social media, I think they'd be a little upset."

"Yeah, you're right." She sighed. "Alright, I'll help you cover it. It's cold out so you can just wear a scarf."

"Good idea." You said before getting up from the bed.

Manon did the same, kicking the blankets off her legs before heading to the closet to put on some clean clothes.

You grabbed some before heading into the bathroom to brush your teeth and hair while Manon finished getting dressed before joining you in there.

A scarf was in her hand, one of the ones she loves most on you as it brings out the color of your eyes.

She came up to you and wrapped it around your neck loosely before you fixed it and when you did, she found herself pulling you in for a sweet kiss.

"It's not going to be too warm to wear?"

"No, I'm good. Thank you." You assured and kissed her cheek, your warm minty breath fanning against her skin.

"I'm sorry I got so carried away and gave you so many."

"You're apologizing for it?" You asked in disbelief and watched her nod. "Baby,"

You paused and wrapped your arms around her neck.

"Don't ever be sorry. I love them, you know I do." You assured. "And instead of apologizing for giving me so many, you should be promising to give me more tonight."

You winked at her when her brown eyes widened and with a couple of kisses to the corners of her lips, you walked away and Manon shook her head with a grin, too in love with you for words to express.
