Day 13

Jaune wanted to deal with guests better

First was how they are welcomed

The Mayor had a meeting with the High Elves about a new construction project

Jaune: I believe it's not good to keep guests outside when greeting them.

But I am not comfortable with  them entering our home.

So I've decided to build a guest house foe our visitors. I was thinking about a house fit for four people.

What so you think?

Lea: that's too small.

Lafa: she's right people coming here will have to climb mountains and go through the forest.

Our guests for now are all from the demon lords ans dragon kings kingdoms normaly people coming through here will do so in large groups.

Lea: If that's so then let's play it safe and build a house that could fit 30 people.

We'll make the first floor an open area for feasts.

Lafa: and we'll make the second floor bed rooms so that if our guests would want to stay a bit longer.

With that the girls were on their way with the construction

The second was Greeting the guests

Jaune: now I want us to have a way to greet our guests.

Granmaria and the angels are in charge of defending the perimeter.

Rather than finding visitors and guidenf them here. They capture them and bring them to the entrance of the village.

On top of that when Zabuton sounds the alarm, everyone grabs their weapons and get ready for battle.

That is not a welcome I would want....

So I made Zabuton a new way to signal for visitors.

Lea and the girls made a metal bell for visitors and the old wood bell is now for any threats

Zabuton gave him a salute as she practiced with the new bell

Now he discussed the welcoming party

He suggests that He, Lu and Tia should be the welcoming party but was instantly shot down by Anne

Anne: I must advise against using such a small party to welcome guests.

Lizard Man: she is right you know. Enemies could disguise themselves as visitors and sneak in.

He then decides to add a few Elves, ogre maids and Lizard men to the welcoming party

Jaune: ( Flora wanted to join the welcoming party but I had something else in mind.)

Flora: you want me to keep watch over the guests?

Jaune: yeah so that if they cause trouble we'll  know.

Flora: understood. Leave it up to me.

Jaune: ( that's when I realized she and Lu can last for weeks without sleep but I told her not to push herself. 

With that all preparation we made were put to use.........earlier than I expected. )

As the Village was visited by more guests
