"we in and out of this store." mom said getting a cart.

"okay what duties we on?" I asked.

"bri and notti is on spices and meats" she said.

"ddot and dd on vegetable, fruits, and sauces." she said.

"im on refrigerators" she said.

"and jay is on tortillas, rice, vegetable broth, and olive oil." she said.

''okay, lets go team!" I said.

"wait where are we meeting when were done?" dd said.

"snack aisle, yall can pick out some snacks. dont leave the snack aisle until everyone is there though." she said.

"okay, so this should only take about 30 minutes." I said walking away with notti from the rest of the group.

"yu wan split up?" I asked.

"naw, this a unfamiliar place." he said.

"okay, well lets get the meat first." I said walking into an aisle.

"okay" he said.

"you okay?" I asked.

"yeah, im straight." he said.

"you promise?" I said.

"yes, lea." he said.

"how's that girl from five below?" I said.

"why you being awkward?" he said laughing at me.

"im not, slut." I said mugging him.

"who's here?" he said.

"yu keep looking around, and yu not talking regular." he said.

"there's a guy in the red, he keeps following us. don't look back yet. it'll be obvious." I said.

"okay" he mumbled. and sneezed.

"look now, he not paying attention." I said. he looked.

"he looks familiar." notti said.

"could he be someone from home?" I said.

"I don't think so, wait." notti said pausing.

"he's from dubai." he said, realizing.

"dubai? what he doing here?" I said.

"uh, he's the boy that asked you out." he said.

"so has he been following this whole time? since july?" I said, shocked.

"he couldn't have followed us, maybe he lives here." notti said.

"then why is he following us?" I said picking up the boneless chicken.
