"sit down, please so I can explain everything." my "dad said.
"how is this even happening rn." notti whispered to me. we all sat down with my dad.
"let me explain." he started.
"So 2 years ago I was caught up with 2 gangs and dey teamed up to kill me mainly then go after my people. I couldn't let that happen so I had to go low. I told ya mom everything, I told her to make it seem like I had died so I could keep yu guys safe. I did what I have to do and I don't regret. I am alive and yu guys are alive, if I did this any different, we probably would be all dead. But I handled it." he said.
"I still don't understand why yu couldn't just tell us." dd blurted out.
"yur safer not knowing anything." dad said.

"I didn't know it was ya dad, ya mom called me and told me to set up a dinner for tonight at 6:45. She didn't tell me anything else. So I just did ts." he said
"speaking of ya mom, where is she?"

"mom has a boyfriend, or a husband or something. ion really know what dey are."

"sum happened to jay, he was shot" I mentioned to him

"yea, he straight" dd said. I kicked him under the table.
"I'm glad yur back, I really was goin through it." I told him.
"did yu tell mom dat yu here?" notti said furrowing his eyebrows.
"yea she knows that I'm here, dats why im confused she not here."
"maybe she thought yu were dead?" I thought.
"nah, i was texting her to let her know I was safe. he said.
