with George and Freyja only just engaged and Freyja now very heavily pregnant, wedding planning could be very hard for the young couple to even contemplate doing with their busy schedules. both of them are so infatuated with each other to think about anything else other than the other person. But it's all Freyja could seem to think about; the dresses, the flowers, the bridesmaids, the venue and of course where their baby fit into her fantasy wedding. Freyja soon came to her harsh realisation that because the baby wasn't due until after the wedding, baby Shelley wouldn't really fit anywhere into this wedding unless it was In her stomach.
"George look!" Freyja almost burst with excitement as she jumped up from the couch with the burning hot laptop in her hands, she dropped it as it burnt her and she muttered a chorus of "FUCK FUCK OUCH," George ran in "what? what's happened?" he asked, panic was very evident in his features. He ran over to Freyja who was now keeled over and sat on the carpet flooring, holding her hand carefully. "m-my hand," she muttered as she lifted it to reveal to George her swollen, red and very blistered hand. George looked worried and immediately ran around the house looking for a cloth and cold water to help sooth Freyja's very sore and swollen hand.
He came back with a bowl full of cold water and some cotton pads, he started to wipe the blood off Freyja's hand and she watched for a while until she remembered why she shouted him in the room to start with. "LOOK," she screeched excitedly much to the dismay of George's very sensitive ears, he fell back and his chocolate brown curls fell onto his soft and pale face. "Jesus Christ will you please stop scaring me woman?!" he just managed to muster from his rouged lips, his voice was forced due to the lack of air to the lungs he was now experiencing from the fright he had just received from Freyja. Freyja giggled and pushed the laptop towards George, on the screen was a white tuxedo in George's size that Freyja had found on the top man website. she smiled "you like?" she asked, a sense of mischief was now making its way into her voice. "it's nice, but its too expensive," George breathed disappointedly. "and anyway what are you doing looking at this? your supposed to be resting Mrs!" George said concerned, as he realised that Freyja had probably been looking at wedding stuff all morning.
"shh, there's no harm in looking whilst I'm sat down is there? and I don't need to rest anymore, the doctor said he's fine so stop worrying babe." Freyja said softly as she looked at George who was slightly upset, she kissed him. After a few minutes silence, George managed to say "sorry, sorry it just scares me," he said it quietly as he started to remember the events of last week. "you need to stop moving around so much, give the baby some time to move," he continued and Freyja listened with intent because she knew how much George needed to say this. He stopped talking and Freyja pulled him in for a tight hug, tears slipped down George's face and onto Freyja's bare shoulders, she grimaced because they were cold "I'm sorry babe, he's fine though. we're fine, you don't need to worry about us." she smiled a little and kissed his curls, she moved to sit on his lap and he calmed immediately.
They continued looking at tux's and dresses for the rest of the afternoon whilst Freyja rested. the baby moved around and kicked Freyja's stomach hard whilst they were sat down. Freyja placed George's hand on her stomach and he smiled up at her when the baby kicked his hand. "he knows it's you, he knows it's his daddy," Freyja smiled, whilst George began to tear up "he'll be here soon, and then he can teach daddy how to play football." Freyja giggled, she nudged George's arm playfully. "just cause I'm not skilled at football, I make up for it in other ways," George smirked and winked at Freyja. her eyes widened in realisation "GEORGE," she shouted, disgust evident in her voice "what?" he jumped and giggled. "not in front of the child!" she giggled a bit, and slapped him softly. "sorry," he giggled and kissed her.
a few hours later, after extensive searching on Freyja's part, she had finally found it, the perfect venue. "George look at this," she said, a sense of both excitement and nerves etched it's way into her voice. She turned the laptop to George and he too began to get excited "It's perfect," he beamed. it was an old church just down the road from where they lived, it showed pictures of the inside and George and Freyja both thought it was amazing "and the people who own it also have another venue where we could have the reception," Freyja continued as the excitement built up more and more inside her "it's not too much money either," George continued Freyja's sentence because she was unable to do so herself. when Freyja could finally speak again after calming down from her extensive excitement, Freyja and George both looked at each other and simply said "THAT'S THE ONE," they giggled. George got the owner's number off the website, rang up and booked both venue's for their wedding. everything was now becoming very real, with only a few weeks till the wedding.
