The dusty pavement lay below my dragging feet; being a child at hear it felt best to drag them along like a grumpy annoying 4 year old.
It hadn't rained for months in the normally rainy Eden Village, the pavements started to crack, the muddy patches in the grass has transformed into foundation coloured dust, the trees were losing their normally glowing green colour and the hospital was over loaded with dehydrated patients.
I really hated school.
Who doesn't?
I had the hideous, itchy, wooly, blue jumper on over the overly plain white shirt, and my short black straight skirt. My bags bouncing with folders filled with revision. I hate May. The month of May is filled with thousands of exams. Boring, pointless exams.
Reluctantly, i looked over to my left and saw through the trees, the smallish cold, grey building. I glanced at my watch. Whoops. A whole 10 minutes late. I can imagine everyone sitting in Mr. Violets lesson. Bored. Science with ' Violet was THE most boring 90 minutes you could endure a day. He could make you fall asleep with in the first 10 seconds of his lessons. Especially at 9am on a Monday morning.
To sum up my horrdenous morning, i was late, felt really sick and had Violet and Science. Was it too late to turn around and go home?
