OKAYYYY HERE WE GO PEOPLE

First of all, I'm back from vaca!! I've made several announcements, but just for the sake of anyone who might have missed them, I'd like to thank all of you for your kindness and your endless support. Those who left comments wishing me well while I was away meant a lot, and I put my all into this chapter for you!! Also, thank you to those who simply leave a vote, or a read – You're never forgotten. All of y'all are awesome and I appreciate everything you do for the story <333

Secondly... Foxy Pirates is finally coming to a close, and it has been an insane ride to say the least lol. As this is the last part of the arc, and we have a lot of factors that need a wrap-up, the chapter is actually much longer than any of the others I've written (more than 60 pages somehow)! This is also meant to make up for my absence, so get ready for lots of fluff and good feels!!

Foxy Pirates will officially serve as the end of all the petty squabbles and pointless arguments between Luffy and MC for the most part (another reason I am so enthusiastic about moving forward). From here on out they'll be developing their relationship, as well as themselves, in ways that aren't typically so 'explosive.' We've finally reached a point where their soulmate bond has basically solidified, which is absolutely insane to think about... We've come so far!! I am super, super excited to get into the upcoming side-stories and fillers that I've got planned – Water Seven is just around the corner, too, and I'm so hype. It's gonna be SUUUUPERRRRR!

Okay, and finally... There's a little note at the end of this chapter! Something small but fun that I've included after some pleading.

Happy reading everyone!! <33

The final game is underway... A stand-off between both pirate captains that's been slow to commence. Suffering through the wait of another arena being built from the ground up – accompanied by over-enthused shop-keepers, men's overjoyed shouting about the prospect of 'two lovely women joining their ranks,' as well as the cacophony of ear-piercing cheerleading – I was growing antsy over this whole ordeal, seriously debating on making a run for it given that it meant I could return to Luffy's side. Screw the rules, it's not like the other team ever followed them, anyway.

"You look as if you're about to jump from the stands." Robin hums without taking her eyes from the Sexy Foxy; The Foxy Pirates ship. This was the site chosen 'at-random' for Luffy and Foxy's face-off.

How convenient for the long-nosed man, I think snottily.

The intrusion of Robin's voice brings to mind the exact reason as to why I couldn't abandon ship. If I went against the rules, escaped of my own accord without considering the aftermath of my choices, would that leave Robin at risk in my stead? Regardless of there being a threat, it simply wouldn't be fair to leave her behind whilst I was able to return to my soulmate. I suppose I could convince her to escape with me, but there was no telling what Foxy himself would do if we cheated our way out of this. As hypocritical as it may be, the coy man had already displayed his heartless nature when shooting Shelly. I didn't want to imagine what he'd do with mutineers.

Then there was also the problem of a 'pirates honor.' It was last on my list of worries, but at the same time I wasn't certain if Luffy would take to my insurgence. Based on the fact that the captain had accepted participating in the finale, he likely wanted to see it through to the end... So, in that same regard, he probably wouldn't agree with my rebellious scheming. The boy wanted to play the games, and he wanted to play them fair. The other team's actions had no effect on his own.
