i called my friend, so we could meet up and she'd tell me the whole story. how she got your number et cetera.

so we went into town and she explained everything. the only thing she didn't let me see, were her conversations with you. i didn't understand why, so i begged her to show it to me. but she wouldn't let me. eventually i gave up and we continued to wander through the streets.

but suddenly i felt my phone vibrating. i got a text. from you. naturally, i freaked out and nearly dropped my phone. apparently the reason my friend wouldn't let me read the conversation, was because she was asking you to text me as a surprise. and a fucking surprise it was.

we texted for a while and talked about basic things - where you go to school, what kind of music you listen to and so on.  

i never thought something like this would happen, but it did. and i don't know if i'm either excited or anxious about what will happen next between us.
