I woke up to my mother, if that's what you even want to call her that, ripping open my curtains and pretty much ordering me out of bed and down to "Father"'s office. When I got there after about 20 minutes Liam was standing by the door with his hands in his pockets kicking the ground. I greeted him and we both walked into the office and got told that Lisanna who they referred to as "the demon spawn" was getting kicked out of the pack, Liam and I pretty much told them that if they were throwing her out they were throwing us out too. And they did, Liam took the alpha's note ran up to his room to write a quick note as well and ran to school before all the little sheep got there to make trouble. Liam got back in about 10 minutes. We sat in my van waiting for Lisanna to show up. She knocked on the window letting us know it was her and Liam hit the unlock then jabbed his thumb back, letting her know silently to get in the back. I saw she gave one last look at the place we once called home before hopping in and slamming the door shut. I started up the engine and we left.
Now we're somewhere in Arizona when my wolf started feeling restless. Pulling over at a gas stationg I hopped out to get gas when I smelled the most amazing scent, it smelled like vanilla and chocolate, it made my mouth water and my stomach rumble. My wolf wanted to find the scent, I told Lisanna and Liam that we were going to stop here for maybe 20 minutes because my wolf was acting up and they nodded. I started looking around for the scent and pretty much let my nose guide me. I got around to the back of the gas station store place and saw a girl sweeping up garbage. My wolf Danny was screaming 'MATE!' Her hair was covering her face and she was wearing what reminded me of Lisanna's clothes. I took a minute to fully check her out before making myself known. She had black and blue hair and was slightly tanned, she was about 5'5ish and was trembling. the back door behind her slammed opened and she jumped. A guy stepped out and hit her on the back between the shoulder-blades.
"Hey bitch, you got a letter from the alpha. And I got specific orders to go with them." He snarled, his treatment of my mate pissed me off. I growled loud enough for any were-wolves within 20 feet to hear. The guy spun around and saw me, his eyes widened before he smirked.
"Looks like we got a rogue." I noticed my mate stiffened when she heard me growl. But I was way too pissed to notice even why.
"Don't you dare touch my mate again, or even speak to her." I growled out letting some of the alpha power in me to come out. He was shocked and bowed his head and ran inside. I closed my eyes and let out a deep calming breath, inhaling my mate's scent briefly. Opening my eyes I looked into the most gorgeous blue eyes, they were about the same color as her hair. My breath ended up catching and I watched as some girl ran out over to her and hugged her around the waist.
"Belle!" I heard a female voice call out. I pulled my gaze away from hers for a moment to look at the two newcomers. They both had black hair and blue eyes, but the little girl looked to be about 10, and the one who called out looked to be about 16. "What's wrong?" I heard my mate ask quietly.
"We're getting thrown out, even Kiera over in the Greenwhich pack is being thrown out. I think everyone who is like you is getting tossed to the curb. We need to leave, quickly!"
"JASON!" I heard my brother and sister call, I took a few steps back and looked over to where I had parked my van, I saw a male wolf, who feels like a beta standing in front of my vehicle. I felt a hand touch my arm and sparks fly. I looked down at my mate, "I'll be right back, I have to help my brother and sister." She nodded and whispered, "Hurry."
I jogged over to the beta and growled low enough for him to hear, "Get away from my vehicle, we don't mean any harm, just passing through."
He silently snorted, "yeah, right, with that demon you've got with you. I highly doubt it." I growled.
"My sister isn't a demon."
"Yeah, that's what they all say." He growled glaring at me. I narrowed my gaze and let my wolf come out a little.
"Didn't your father ever teach you to show respect to those with alpha blood?" He inhaled sharply and took a few steps back before recomposing himself. "Get the hell off my land rogue. As fast as possible." He said shakily, before turning and walking off. I looked over at my mate who saw everything go down and motioned for her to come over.
"Your name's Belle, right?" I asked when she got close enough. She nodded and said soft enough, "My full name is Belladonna Skye Winters." I nodded and smiled.
" I want you to meet my siblings," I said as Lisanna and Liam came over. "That's Lisanna, she got thrown out of our former pack and Liam, her twin brother, and I decided to join her." My mate and Lisanna checked each other out while I felt Liam's gaze boring into the side of my head, I looked over at him and he pointed towards my mate and mouthed, 'who's that?'
"Lis, Liam, this is my mate, Belladonna. Or Belle if you will." I said looking down at my mate with a smile.
"Nice to meet you both, I got the same fate as you Lisanna. My sisters decided to join me as well."
"Belle, were you given a 2 hour limit as well?" Lis asked, tilting her head to the side. I watched as my little beauty nodded and closed her eyes. I frowned, "We better hurry then" I looked over to her sisters who came around the building. "You want to introduce us before we all take off?" I asked.
She nodded then pointed to the older one of the two, "That's Selene, she just turned 17 last week," then pointed to the younger, "And she's Anita. She just turned 10, and she's mute. Selene, Anita, this is my mate, Jason," She said nodding up at me, while I supressed a shiver, then pointed to Lisanna, "Lisanna," to Liam, "And Liam."
They smiled briefly, then Selene went over to a deep blue jeep and opened the door. "I have to join my sisters, follow after us, we'll take you guys to the border. We'll meet up with my friend, Kiera, who is like me and your sister. We'll also be meeting her older brother and little sister. Then we can head wherever, probably no-man's land. Seeing as it's the safest place." My mate said. I frowned but nodded. I watched as she walked over to the jeep and entered it. I got into my van and pulled away from the pump, following closely behind Selene's Jeep.
