Chapter 23 Complications

My P.O.V

I walk around in the dark for what seems like hours and hours. I see this light and a door. My body swiftly walks over to the door, opening it. I look inside to see Natsu, Natsumi, and Ryuu all standing there with blood covering their bodies and faces. I stop walking and just stare at them. Natsu, Natsumi, and Ryuu all say together "Why did you do this to us? Why did you loose control when we warned you not too?" I don't say anything. The scene changes and I see the whole Fairy Tail guild burning in flames. Everybody laying on the ground, lifeless. Then I see myself, smiling evilly at the others, my eyes blood red and proud filled. I suddenly start to laugh at them all. The scene changes back to Natsu and my children, but everybody is there. Lucy, Loke, Gray, Erza, and everybody else is there.

"Why did you do this to us? Why did you loose control when we warned you not too?" They all say together. Then Natsumi and Ryuu step up together. Their faces completely covered in blood and torn and burned up.

"Mama, this is all your fault." They say in unison. " This is all your-"

I wake up screaming. I'm covered in sweat along with my pillow and clothes. Natsu bursts through te door and rushes to me on the bed. I am breathing heavily now and Natsu pulls me to him and rocks us both. "Its okay. Its okay. It was a dream. Just a dream. I'm here. I'm here." Natsu soothes me, rubbing my back in small circles. A small whimper escapes my mouth and tears fall down my eyes. Natsu stays with me till I calm down after minutes of crying and rocking and soothing.

"What have I done?" I whisper to myself. I look at Natsu with determined eyes. "Natsu, what ever you do, don't let me loose control of myself, okay?" I say and he nods. I get dressed, skip breakfast, and we all head to the guild. I space out till I hear "WE'RE BACK!!" From Natsu, Natsumi, and Ryuu. I smile smile and go sit down. Lucy walks over to me, a worried expression on her face. She sits across from me, and grabs my hands.

"Mia, are you okay?" she asks. I nod, but she doesn't believe me. "I know what you had to do for Ryuu. It must have been hard, but you did it for the best, don't let it bother you." she adds. I smile at her kindly.

"Thank you, Lucy." I say. "That's not it. When two powers are in one body, or together, they fight to see which one is more powerful, even though they are the same power. And it hurts my body. It's all right though."

She smiles. "Want to go and talk to the others? It'll cheer you up." she suggests and wiggles her eyebrows. I smile and walk over with her. Natsu comes to me and stands next to me. I smile at him. "I'm fine, love. Everything will be okay." I whisper and kiss his forehead. A huge childish smile covers his face. I am suddenly picked up, thrown over his shoulder, and danced across the whole guild. It's not until Gramps clears his throat at the top of the stairs. "Natsu, Mia, can I speak with you?"

I am set down immediately and we both are rushing up the stairs. We go inside his office and stand there. "Mia, Natsu, your fate has been chosen by the Power Switch. It is all up to you now to chose witch path you need to."

"I, we, both know that gramps." Nastu says, grabbing my hand. I nod in agreement.

"No, you don't." Gramps snaps. "You Natsu, have to be prepared to loose Mia if it comes to it. And Mia, you have to be prepared to live with whatever happens, even if it means everybody being gone." He speaks as if he knows what happens.

I swallow, hard. Nervous and thinking of the dream I had. Natsu's hand tightens on mine, causing a sharp pain to go through my wrist. But I ignore it. I collapse to the floor in sudden pain. I know what it it is from. A vision of myself shows up, killing everybody in my way. My eyes so full of noting, no love, no memories, no life. "Mia!" Natsu shouts. He kneels down to me. I feel like my body is changing and I can't do a thing about it. I look up, tears streaming down my face. Natsu touches my cheek, and that's when it happens.
