Huge Tapestry's of red and gold hung upon the wall making the room look warmer against the cold grey stones of the walls. The room was glowing golden and yellow due to the hundreds of candles flickering around the grand hall. Making the beautiful gowns of rich red, gorgeous green and prestigious purple shine as they flow around the women's feet as they dance. The grand hall was alive with the magical sounds of laugher and chatting aswell as the enchanting music being performed by the courts finest musicians. It was an amazing sight to see, one of the most majestic courts in all its glory. All here on this amazing night for the most handsome, strong and intelligent man; The King.
The king was sat watching the festivities holding his shining silver goblet full of wine while talking with his close friends. As the King he had chosen his friends wisely as one can never know who to trust, who will betray you in a heartbeat. Most of his close friends were people he had grown up with who were of noble blood and of course his trusted advisors. Usually the King was the life of the party, talking with everyone being very merry. He was known for his flirtatious attitude and his ability to dance well, everyone here for the festivities where looking forward to seeing the king and his infectious cheery attitude. However tonight the King was distracted, there was a new lady at court who had become a lady in waiting to his wife. She had come across from the French court and her father he knew as the Earl of Wilshire. But she was still a mystery.
He caught sight of her on the edge of the dance floor laughing with some of the other lady's. Her emerald green dress which showed how thin her wait is, and a pearl necklace with the letter B hanging on it. Boleyn.
The king Henry had an affair with the sister of this Lady. Her name was Mary Boleyn also an attractive young Lady, however the opposite of this stunning young lady dancing before him. Mary had long blonde hair in contrast to the dark haired beauty whose name was still a mystery to him. However the fact that he had an affair with this lady's sister would not stop him from trying to pursue this mystery woman.
She could feel the Kings eyes following her across the dance floor. She looked up through her long black eyelashes and sure enough he was staring right at her. She smiled to herself at the way he couldn't keep his eyes off her. She was proud of herself for acting with the dignity and grace that she had learnt at the French court. He was the most handsome man she had ever seen, with piercing eyes and a tall built body, she had heard that he was a very attractive man of the court and that all of the women in court secretly wanted him. But she didn't believe this until she saw it, she thought it would just the longing of the women wanting a king exaggerating his looks, but she was wrong. She slowly made her way over to him and stood in front of the King.
He studied her carefully and immediately wanted her for his own, the beautiful enchanting young woman had to be his. "What is your name, my lady" wanting to get to know this mysterious young woman. "My name is Anne, sire" as she looked up into the kings eyes "Anne Boleyn"
