Chapter: A Great Loss

Days flew by so fast, I am now studying on a school here at Paris, every student in the campus knows who I am. And I also got an operation for my eyes so that I will never wear contact lenses or glasses again. And for the meanwhile me and my family will bond together and my father taught me about his business. I began to learn fast at the company, parks, and imperial real estate and I began to handle them in no time. My father really did spent his whole life building this treasures, he worked on them hard. The people in the office said that he was a great and kind boss though sometime he would scold them because their mistakes. Medias where everywhere, I guess my presence is now known all around the world. I also had an interview on tv but I did have my lessons to be taught about being proper at all times. My mother and father where now married, it was more of a private wedding, the guest where really chosen. And if you where their lucky for you.

“So, Alecsandra, who where you on the past?” the reporter asked

“Me? I had 2 identities, from now and the past. I will say who I am from the past, it was really hard to recall” I stated

“Will you tell us who you were?” she asked again, I smiled

“No I will not, I will tell you all after I got my plans done. Right now, I will have a great privacy around it” I said

“What happened about you in the past the you can recall and tell us” she asked again, DARN! She getting on my nerves!

“Well, in my school. Some of the populars will tease me because of my looks. I was a nerd… Thick Frame Glasses, Braces, Messy Hair, and Thick brows. Imagine being me, then all of a sudden shocked because of being a great man’s daughter” I said, they all nodded

“What was the hardest thing that happened in your life and why?” God, this a beauty contest or something?

“The hardest thing that happened in my life is, my father dying” I stated and began to sob “The reason why? I just met him, ever since my whole life. I’ve never saw his face, my mother broke up with my father because she caught him cheating. My father was out of his mind because he was drunk, my mother took me with her and she avoided contact with my father since. And since then, all I thought was…. He was dead” I said and tears slid down my cheeks “But by then, before I met my father, he had spent his entire life dedicating it all to his business. He helped so much people, he gave them work and they give him their loyalty. He was a great man in business, he treated every worker equal. Now, I am taking over his empire. And I promise to dedicate my life to it as well. And do what he did, except that I will be much greater” I explained, they all clapped and I wiped my tears away with a tissue they offered

“Thank you, Miss Alecsandra. We all heard her, her father was a great man on business. He brought Paris to one of the most successful country because of his multiple business handling, and he was the 2nd richest person in the universe with all his belongings costing about 9 billion dollars” the reporter said. “Thank you for joining us this evening and thank you for bearing with us the pain you have suffered during those times” she said, we shook our hands and I headed home.

Stressed, from school, business, work, questions and thing that I have done, I headed to my bedroom. My bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a curtain around it for privacy. I have small living room, a bathroom, a place for studying and more…. Oh, and I forgot to tell you, I am a martial artist and gymnastic. I learn more when I was here….. More

I relaxed at my bed, when a knock on the door came.

“Come in!” I yelled politely

“Madame, your father wants you to be with him on his room” the maid said politely.

“I will be there in a moment” I said and the maid walked out of the room. I checked the date… SHIT! I arrived here maybe the midst of Feb.2010  and now look at the date January 2011, OH SH*T My father’s going to die. I walked carefully and knocked on my father’s room.

“Come in” I heard a voice say weakly

“Father, you called to see me?” I said and he nodded, someone knocked in the door again and my mother entered

“You want to see m- us, hun” she stared at my father

“Yes, dear. Come here you 2” he said, my father… My poor father has now pale skin, dry lips and bald scalp. It’s because of the chemo therapy. The cancer cells has now spread at his liver and spleen.

“What is it father?” I asked him wishing that he will never bid his goodbyes

“I want you to know, that I love you so much” he coughed several times. “I now, will say my goodbyes to both of you. I would like to let you know that. Though I have dedicated my life for my work. My mind and heart were always with you” he coughed, tears ran down from my cheeks and I began to sob. I gripped on his hand tight, making circled at the back of it with my thumb. “I entrust you my dear with all the belongings I have… I trust you to love and protect your mother…. I LOVE YOU BOTH” and with that he took his last breath and closed his eyes, his heart stopped beating and after awhile his hands turned cold.

My mother and I mourned his death, I cried and cried thinking about all that had happen. I love him so much even if we only had been together for 9 months. He still my father and he’ll always be.

I stand at the side of my father’s coffin and held the Microphone in my mouth, I began speaking “My father… had been such a great man on his business and kind and caring as a father, he entrusted me of everything he got” I sobbed quietly as tears ran down from my cheeks “He trusted me to love, care and protect my mother for she is my only family. I stand here near my father’s body and in front of you all, I shall make a promise, I will be like my father wanted me to be… A great business woman like him and a kind, loving family member. “ And after the funeral of my beloved father, we head back at the mansion.

“Mom, we have to move on, we can’t live in the past. We have to start, just like what father like” I stated to my poor crying mother. She hugged me tight and wiped her tears away

“You’re right dear, we shall be like what your father wanted us to be” she said and smiled, we hugged each other…

“I’ll be going to my room mother, take care of yourself okay? I have to work on the files for the company… We are going back to San Francisco” I stated, my mother looked shocked. But she nodded instead

My father had just died, he left my mother and I. I quickly took over the company, some of the worker we’re still mourning his death so I decided to make an announcement

“Good morning everyone” I greeted smiling at all of them

“Good morning madame” they greeted

“My father had just died, he entrusted me of everything he had. Don’t you all worry, I shall not fire any of you from work. I will continue, the business that my father had built up. I will be a great business woman like him. A great being, so let us all forget the past and move on to the next day… The company, will have a great loss if all of you think about the situation, I want you all to trust me like what you did to my father. Let us all get back to work” I stated, And with that everybody went to work.

Everything is going well, at my father’s company. I will go back to San Francisco for my revenge. I had everything planned, and I’m sure it will do great! Time for my revenge at San Francisco College.

“I am going to trust with this Mike” I told my vice president, he had been great friends with my father and a great business man as well

“I shall not fail you Alecsandra” he smiled I nodded

“I trust you with everything, I like everything to be like as it is when I come back. I will only be gone for 3 years to finish my course of business management” I stated and he nodded

“Good luck for your trip” he said

“Thank you, I will need that” and with that I walked out of the room and handed everything to Mike, I made sure there are no problems when I left.
