Hey guys!

So, before I post the first chapter of this, I'm gonna explain what exactly 'this' is. I've had this idea floating around for a while, and I'm finally putting it out there.

It's mainly inspired by an interactive fiction called Anchorhead, and a role playing game my brother has been GMing for us and some of our friends. So, without further ado, I present Claremont Harbor.

You'll be fully introduced to the setting and characters in the upcoming first chapter, but I'll give you some basic themes: small seaside town, police investigation ancient evils...

(It might also be a little Lemony Snicket-inspired. ATWQ, anyone? Nah? Okay...)

But the thing that's gonna make this book special, true to its RPG and old-school gaming roots, is that Claremont Harbor will be interactive.

It'll go like this: I'll introduce you to setting, characters, and conflict. Then, in the comments after every chapter, y'all are gonna tell me where you want to go/what you want to do next, in order to solve the mystery or find the monsters or whatever (I'm going to want you-if you guys are poopheads and vote me towards boring places, you're gonna get short chapters. So it's your choice).

However, here's the thing, guys. In order for this to work, I need comments. Just super simple stuff, like 'go to the hotel' or 'question the chief of police'. It's like you're writing it along with me. You're all my helpful and cute co-authors :). I'm looking forward to doing this with you.

BadWolf out. Finis!

...

P.S. Bonus Round! If you're into it, you can also go on a scavenger hunt for references to my various obsessions, 'cause there's gonna be loads. Check my bio for a non-comprehensive list of stuff to be alert for. Again, you guys are all so nice and attractive.

Thanks!

P.P.S. The picture is some sketches I did of Ryn, the main character. Sorry not sorry.

'Kay bye!
