Jimin, his men, and Zoran were being escorted to the vehicles, their hands cuffed behind their backs. The officers led them toward armored cars, while Ivey and Taehyung handled the injured guards, dragging them toward separate vans. Some were half-conscious, others groaning in pain. The mission had gone according to plan for now.
Ivey wiped sweat off her forehead and glanced at Taehyung, watching as he helped the officers load the last of the captured guards. A nagging thought troubled her.
She turned to him. “Why are we taking these guards with us?” she asked, her voice laced with curiosity.
Taehyung didn’t stop his movements. “Orders.”
She narrowed her eyes. “Orders from who?”
Taehyung finally met her gaze but didn’t give her a clear answer. “You'll find out soon enough.”
Ivey huffed in frustration. She hated when Taehyung did that keeping her in the dark when she was just as involved. But before she could press him further, the roar of helicopters filled the air, signaling it was time to leave.
Unbeknownst to them, hidden behind a thick concrete pillar, J-Hope had been watching everything. His sharp eyes had caught glimpses of Ivey and Taehyung moving strategically in the shadows earlier. He hadn't reacted, hadn’t made a sound just observed.
Now, as the last of the cars and choppers lifted off into the sky, his lips curled into a smirk.
He pulled out his phone and made a call.
“They’re gone,” he muttered. “But we’ve got a problem… they know about the island.”
A deep voice on the other end responded. J-Hope listened carefully, then nodded. “I’ll handle it.”
With that, he slipped away into the darkness.

Inside the chopper, the atmosphere was tense. Ivey sat beside Taehyung, arms crossed, her gaze fixed on the window as the city lights below faded into the vast ocean.
Taehyung was on a call, his tone firm. “Yes, we have them… No, Zoran’s resisting, but he’s restrained.” A pause. “Yes. We’ll land in 20.”
He hung up, exhaling. Ivey finally turned to him. “Who was that?”
“HQ,” Taehyung answered, leaning back. “They want us at the main quarters the moment we land.”
Ivey didn’t respond immediately. Instead, she observed Jimin, who sat across from them, eerily calm despite the cuffs on his wrists. His eyes, dark and unreadable, met hers for a moment before he smirked.
“You did well, sweetheart,” Jimin said smoothly.
Ivey’s jaw tightened. “Shut up.”
Taehyung shot Jimin a warning look, but the mafia boss just chuckled and leaned back, as if he wasn’t a prisoner being taken in.
“Let’s see if you’re still this confident when we land,” Taehyung muttered.
Jimin only smiled.
Arrival at the Main Quarter
The moment they landed in Korea, black SUVs surrounded the area. Officers immediately took charge, dragging Jimin, Zoran, and the rest of the prisoners out of the chopper.
Jimin stepped out first, his usual cocky composure intact. Zoran, however, wasn’t as composed—he struggled, cursing as officers tightened their grip on him.
