Warning ⚠ : Bullying and Neglecting.
THE SUN WAS SHINING BRIGHTLY AS little six-year-old YN walked beside his nanny, his small hand clutching hers tightly.
Despite the warmth of the day, his heart felt cold and heavy, weighed down by the thoughts he couldn't shake.
"Nanna," YN said, his voice soft and full of sadness, "why is everyone mean to me? Okasan too. She doesn't love me."
He looked up at his nanny, his mismatched eyes wide with unspoken hurt. His right eye, so pale and distant, seemed even paler in the daylight, and his left eye—a deep red—felt like a silent cry for help.
His words were raw, as if they'd been carried around too long without release.
His nanny crouched beside him, offering a warm smile as she ruffled his hair gently.
"YN, sweetie," she murmured softly, "it's not like that. Yumi-sama loves you. She's just been very busy lately, and I know that sometimes things are difficult.
But I promise, with time, they'll all come around. They'll become your friends, just like I am, and just like your Tou-san did." She looked at him with affection in her eyes, like she knew exactly how heavy his heart was.
YN tried to smile back, his little shoulders straightening for a moment as his nanny's kindness poured over him like a shield.
"You think so?" he asked softly, trying to believe her words.
"I know so," she assured him, giving him a light, affectionate squeeze on the shoulder before kissing his forehead.
She dropped him at the school gates, giving him one last smile before watching him turn to enter the playground.
But as soon as he did, the buzzing energy of his classmates felt different—intense, sharp with whispers and sneers.
"Look at the freak. Wonder if he's got some weird powers with those eyes of his."
"I heard his mom doesn't love him. Who could?" Another boy's voice snickered in the distance.
Their words stuck to YN like a sticky web, and as he pulled his small hands into his pockets, he swallowed the lump in his throat.
Just then, he saw Akari, a small boy with bright eyes and a warm smile, approach him.
The relief was almost palpable. "YN!" Akari called out cheerfully, his smile like a lifeline. "Let's go! There's going to be a play. We should join!"
YN's heart fluttered, the tiny spark of happiness flickering within him again.
"Okay," YN said, his voice tentative but hopeful as he nodded.
His friendship with Akari was like a light in the dimness, a promise that maybe, just maybe, things could get better.
He followed Akari to the play classroom, but as soon as they stepped in, the shift in atmosphere was undeniable.
His Sensei, Takamine Michiko, a beautiful lady with sharp eyes and an even sharper demeanor, looked over at YN, her gaze hardening as it fell on him.
YN felt it immediately—the shift in her expression, a disgust so strong it was almost visible. It was like her eyes were judging him, condemning him without words.
