Chapter 2 Of Distant

A/N hey sorry for making you guys wait so long but my friend Emo_Monkey has been really busy lately and hasn't really made much of her part so yeah I'm gonna update.... YAY! Lol I'll get on with the story and stop annoying you. Oh and any of her drawings I describe I didn't make just to let you know.

*Ivory Fench's Point Of View*

I have lived to lunch! Honestly I thought by now I would be bruised and have more scratches that turn to scars than I do now, but I still have two more classes and those two are the worst of the whole day for me and those classes are Gym and Drama class.

Why do I think theses classes are the worst? Well that because you actually have to do stuff with people and talk and I am not a very talkative person nor do I like to work with other people and people don't like to work or talk to me because I'm the outcast that no one likes.

I walked in the cafeteria since I couldn't make me a home lunch. I saw that no one was in the lunch line so I quickly made my way over and just got a PBJ and a bottle of juice. I paid for it with the money I got from my job.

I went to quickly walk out but I dint see the foot sticking out to trip me quick enough so I fell face first into the sandwich which is thankfully in packaging so I didn't get anything on me. I sighed and picked up everything and threw it away, then I walked out of the cafeteria as everyone laughed in at me. I kept my eyes towards the floor the whole time I went to the door, but before I could leave I heard everyone stop laughing. I frowned and turned around to see Landon dumping his drink on his head. Everyone started laughing at him and pointing, but I just shook my head and walked out.

I went outside the school and sat down under a tree that kept me hidden. I sat down crossing my legs and leaning against the tree. I heard someone come outside but I just kept my eyes shut knowing they wouldn't find me.

"You know if you are gonna hide at least don't stick you legs out so far I can easily see them and find you." A deep voice said from in front of me. My eyes napped open and I see Landon and I tense up.

I nodded my head and kept my mouth shut hoping that the awkwardness I made would make him leave, but that doesn't happen he sits down next to me really close making me tense up more. I look over at him to see him raising his hand at me and I flinched away thinking he would hit me. I saw hurt flash through his eyes but as soon as I saw it, it was quickly gone. He pushes my hair out of my face "I'm not gonna hurt you." He whispers softly and I didn't respond because I didn't wanna hurt his feelings by saying I didn't believe him.

I looked away from him and went to get up but he pulled me down and leaned really close. I gulped at how close his face is to mine. He leaned down and his lips brushed mine making me feel weird everywhere.

He leaned in all the way and pressed his lips to mine. I didn't kiss back because I didn't know how. He bit my lip and I just stayed completely still not knowing what to do. He moved away and went to say something but then I touched my lips.

He stole my first kiss.

My eyes widened and I quickly moved my hand away from my lips like they burned me. I didn't bother glancing at Landon to see his reaction. I ran and not towards the school but somewhere far away from their.

--- Next Day ---

I plan on avoiding Landon all day because of what happened yesterday. I walked in to the school with my head down and I walked really close to the walls.

When I got to my locker I got all my stuff then shut it, then I started walking to my class but I saw someone walking towards me. I looked at the ground and went into the big crowd of kids in the middle of the hallway. "Ivory!" He yelled but I ignored him and kept walking to my class.

Today I have Art instead of English first. I walked in and sat in the back of the class next to the window. I pulled out my notebook and started looking through my drawings I have one of a heart that has stitches, needles, patches, band aids, and string holding it together and around that heart are words that say 'There are things I said I would never do. There are fears I cannot believe have come true... For my soul is too sick, too little, and too late... And my self I have grown to weary too hate'.

I went to the next page to see the page split in half by a line on the left side is a girl talking to her friends at a lunch table and she looks happy. On the right side is the same girl but she is sad and sitting at that table with no one and has tears on her cheeks. Above the two pictures are the words 'she may look like this on the outside (above left side) but really she feels like this..(above right side)

The next page has the gun on it and the roses wrapped around the gun. The trigger is pulled back and the bullet goes to the heart and penetrates it.

The next page is blank. I sighed feeling my emotions start to pour out of me as I picked up the pencil and start drawing.

Class had started at least 25 minutes ago but I was stuck in my own little world right now. "Ivory." A voice whispered beside me I frowned. No one talks to me at all so I must be imagining this voice then I went back to drawing. " Ivory." The voice said again except it was closer. I looked over to meet with gorgeous grass green eyes.

I frowned at my thoughts. Gorgeous? When have I ever said something like that?

"Ivory." He said again and I looked at Landon then back down at my notepad not wanting to meet his gaze because of what happened yesterday. Suddenly the bell rang and I quickly gathered my stuff and ran out of class.

--- End Of Day --

All day Landon tried to talk to me but I had a avoided him easily by running out of class if he was in there or if he was waiting at the door get lost in the crowd so he wouldn't see me. At lunch it wasn't that easy though so I had to sit somewhere where I knew he wouldn't look at: the janitors closet. Which if you ask me isn't that bad besides the smells.

I walked out the front doors of the school and started walking home. The sky had greed since I have been outside last and I knew that it was gonna storm really soon and I have a long walk.

Once I had walked about 2 feet it started pouring and then it started to thunder so I jumped in fright. I whimpered as lighting struck. A car honked at me making me jump. I looked over to see Landon in a truck. I turned around and started walking faster.

"Ivory please get in the truck." He said and I shook my head and kept walking he kept telling and asking me to get in the truck but I kept telling him no finally I think he had enough and he turned the car off. I kept walking until suddenly I was lifted off the ground. I screamed and started hitting him.

He put me inside the truck and got in on the drivers side I went to get out but he pulled me really close to him and buckled the seatbelt. Once he was done strapping me in so I wouldn't run out of the truck he buckled up and started the truck.

He passed by my road and I looked at him "you passed my street." I said and he shrugged his shoulders. "Don't care. We're going to my house. He said and I froze.
