Chapter 9

So we went back to the hotel at around 6 p.m., which means I have two hours to get ready. Diana and I walked into the hotel and went to our room.

"What's with the rush?" Diana asked as she puts the card to the room back inside her phone case. I completely forgot I haven't told her.

"Um, I have a date with Liam tonight and I have to get ready!" I smile putting a hand on my lips nervously.

"Really? Ahh! I'm so proud of you girl. Go get in the shower and I'll pick out your clothes. I'll do you hair and makeup too. Don't worry." Diana said.

I was a bit relief after she volunteered to make all decisions. After running upstairs, I got in the shower. I have to admit; I do take my time in the shower. It took me about 45 minutes to finish.

Diana had the curler ready and the hairdryer was plugged in as well. She dried my hair and started curling it. She then did my makeup. She picked out a dark magenta dress that was small from the waist and it flowed down to the knees. It was strapless and it had some kind of design in the chest area. She pick put a cropped black jacket that had the zipper towards one side. The shoes were black high heel stilettos that were opened by the toes. A couple of accessories were added and once I was done, I checked myself in the mirror. I walked to the table to grabbed my phone and key card to our hotel room to place it in my purse.

"Goodnight Diana, see you tomorrow." I shout as I walked towards the door and hear a knock. Oh god. He's here.

"Hey love! " The sound of his voice fills my ears.

"Hey Liam." I look down at my shoes. Why am I so shy?

"We should get going, and by the way you look beautiful!" Liam leans in to whispers the last part into my ear. My heart beating as if I was running for hours.

"We shall! And thanks. You don't look so bad yourself."

We arrived at the lobby and walked to the car.

"How may I help you?" the waiter said.

"Um, yes reservations for Liam Payne?"

"Oh, yes sir, follow me!" the waiter escorts us to the table.

We ordered our drinks and food. The place was very fancy and had expensive dishes. Definitely something I'm not used to.

When we finished our dinner, we ordered dessert. I decided on a strawberry cheese cake and Liam ordered a piece of brownie.

"Lauren?"

"Yea?"

"I know we've been talking for some time. I just wanted to say that you are a wonderful girl and you allow me to be myself. You bring out the real me. I'd love to have you in my life not only as a friend. These stronger feelings over power friendship. You are beautiful and I would love to call you my girlfriend." He paused. "So, will you please be my girlfriend?" He said with the biggest smile in his face. Hope yelling from his eyes as he looked ahead at me.

"I would love to be your girlfriend!" I hear the words harmonically come out of my mouth. Never would I have thought he would asked me out. I was so shocked but ecstatic at the same time. Tears started building up on my eyes, but I restrained from the thought of crying in front of many people. I see Liam's lips coming toward mine. His lips pressed softly into mine catching me by surprise. Butterflies in my stomach were taking over my actions. A start of something new in this beautiful journey.

After the dinner we headed back to the hotel. The smile in my face couldn't fade on the way back to the hotel. Liam reached out for my hand as he drove us. I smiled over at him and he smiles still looking ahead at the road.

Liam walked me up to the hotel room Diana and I share. Our fingers still intertwined with each other. By the look on his eyes, I can see happiness shinning bright through them.

"Thank for tonight Liam! I really appreciate the good time, and I had so much fun!" I said swinging our arms.

"Thank you love! I had the best time. Can't wait for out next date! It'll be better, I promise. Thank you for accepting to be my girlfriend. I'm the happiest man alive right now. Thank you."

"Aw! You're so cute and adorable. That is why I like you a lot." I said putting my arms around his neck. He leaned it and a smile appeared in my face when we kissed. Sparks flew around us in my head. Almost as if it was a dream and a magical land.

"And you are my beautiful girlfriend" he said rubbing my back up and down.

"Well, goodnight love! See you tomorrow morning." Liam said as he looked at me in the eyes.

"Goodnight Liam!" I said and he walked away blowing me a kiss.

Realization hasn't hit me. This has been the best night of my life.
