Waiting for you (Sam x Lucifer)

Part Four: Bathroom Tears

Dean flashes me a glare of hurt, but the look soon turns serious. Dean walks closer toward me and Lucifer till he is between us and starts a stare down with Lucifer. Lucifer doesn't move as Dean wraps his hands tightly around Lucifer's neck. I grab Dean by the shoulder and pull him away from Lucifer, but it really doesn't do much since Lucifer just poofs out of the bathroom.

Dean turns to face me and I feel his fist smash against my cheek.

"What the fuck Dean?!" I scream at him. I can feel the tears running down my bruised cheek, stinging at the touch.

Realizing what he had done, Dean looks down at me kneeling on the floor with my face in my hands. He gets on his knees until he is level with me, wrapping his arms around my body.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, Sammy," Dean apologizes over and over again.

I push Dean away from me, standing up. I look in the mirror as I wipe the tears from my eyes away with my arm. My gaze flicks over to Dean's reflection in the mirror. 

"Don't look so sad," I hiss, without looking at him. 

I'm so fucking pissed off. My grip on the edge of the sink tightens, almost to the point where I think I could break it. Why does Dean have to ruin things like this? I just want to be happy... 

"Why the fuck are you still here?!" I scream at Dean's reflection. "Just go away."

Not wanting to anger me anymore Dean walks out the bathroom, but not before placing a hand on my shoulder and me flashing him a look filled of hate. 

Once Dean leaves the bathroom I lean against the back wall, sliding down it. I sit down and hug my legs close to my chest.

I look up and I see Lucifer hugging me. I hug him back, almost knocking him over with my weight.

"There is no need to cry, I will always be by your side if you wish it," Lucifer whispers. "No one will be able to hurt you as long as I protect you. I heal your wounds and wipe away your tears, as long as you wish it."
