AN/ Uh hi so uh this is my first fanfic on this site so yaknow please help me to understand the format n stuff so yeah

This is so cheesy I'm sorry okay anyway

Have fun

AN/ its been 5 years and I've decided to revamp and continue this fic (the power of the reunion amirite?). Its a lot more immature than I remember(I was 13/14 - I'm now 19 years old) so I'm slowly editing the 10 chapters I had published - I'm sure you'll be able to tell which ones I've done! I will then continue with new chapters!

Fun fact: this is still the only fic I have ever written.

Enjoy :)

P1 SPECIFIC- I switched the bully from Brendon to James (James simply feels more appropriate in light of recent allegations...)

....................

So wait, you're a vampire?"
"Yeah, Frank."
"Like Dracula?"
"Yeah... to an extent."
"You're not joking?"
"No!"
"Gerard, if you're joking"
"I'm not fuckin' joking! This is a serious thing, dude." Gerard sighed and rubbed his eye inelegantly as his best friend looked him up and down, his eyes wide as he processed this information.
"You're. A. Vampire." Frank repeated, Gerard unaware whether he would laugh or scarper away frightened.
"That is... fuckin' rad if you ask me!" Frank beamed. Gerard stopped grinding his teeth as the secret he had kept for his entire life was released to his only true friend; to whom his statement would matter the most.
"Well if you think so." Gerard grabbed Frank's shoulder. "But, you've gotta keep this a secret okay? If this gets out, one; people will talk and say I'm completely, y'know" Gerard whistled and twirled his finger round the side of his head, "and two; if they believe you then I'll actually officially be the number one weirdo that hangs around the art block. So... keep it quiet, y'know?"
Frank looked down, disappointed he couldn't tell anyone about how his best friend.
"So, were you born a vamp? Or were you like..." Frank's eyes widened as he edged closer "trapped in the Eastern European castle of a mysterious andwealthy gentleman... turned, drainedby a force of darkness and burdened with the thirst for-" Frank gasped melodramatically "BLOOD!" He jauntily started towards his undead friend, before recoiling, having processed the potential reality behind what he had referred to.
Gerard shoved him off with a fake laugh and breathed deeply. The bell signalling end of lunch rang and look of puzzled desperation crossed Frank's face.
"Come to mine tonight and I'll explain okay?" Gerard exhaled.
"I just have so many questions, a vampire? My best friend? Of all the people - I shoulda' known! Crazy huh!" Frank said before slinging his bag over his shoulder and trotting down the hallway to a slow double chemistry class.

---

"Okay, sure, alright, okay, yeah, bye Mom, love you." Frank locked his phone and turned to Gerard, who was hunched over beside him on the bus, doodling a face on the inside of his hand.
Frank narrowed his eyes and searched his friend's pale, round neck for bite marks, then felt his own mouth as he looked for teeth under the skin of Gerard's pursed lips. Gerard took two takes before he speedily closed the lid of his pen by slapping his palm against it, and figured what his friend was attempting to find.
"Frank, I know what you're doing, c'mon, I'm not some specimen to be analysed." Gerard moaned, his thick eyebrows curved upward with authoritarian judgement.
"You'll get a bad back if you sit like that", Frank attempted to turn the judgement on him, while Gerard smiled mockingly.
"Fine, sorry, but I just wanted evidence that-" Frank was cut off by Gerard's hand clamped over his mouth.
"What is it, Gee? Afraid your boyfriend will spill it to the whole bus that you're a waste of space? I wouldn't worry about that, everybody already knows." A brown-haired boy with a scrunched up face shoved his head between the bus seats in front; between Frank and Gerard.
"He's not my BOYFRIEND!" Frank growled at the bully.
"Not what it looks liiiiike..." James sang as he slowly receded back to his own seat, where he sat alone.
"We're nearly eighteen now, you'd think he'd stop, wouldn't ya." Frank mumbled quietly.
"Yeah. Whatever." Gerard muttered as he shifted to look at the grey cityscape out the window, ignoring the grumpy Frank that sat beside him. The duo sat in silence until the bus pulled to a halt at Gerard's stop.
