Ch 28- Kartik's Death

At the night Shivani and Kartik were having a good time.

"You look stressed", Kartik said.

"I am", Shivani said.

"About Shivya?"

"Yes, she is really sad".

"See, don't worry too much, she is really strong and I will go and talk to her tomorrow and cheer her up".

"How are you so nice?", Shivani hugged her husband.

"Because I have a lovely wife a lovely sister in law and brother, and I can do anything to help you".

"I love you".

"I love yo too".

Kartik gazed at Shivani's eyes and they both got intimate that night making love to each other.

The next Morning Kartik after doing the veneration he went out. Shivani was really anxious.

"Arjun", Shivani went to him, "Am feeling very anxious, Please call back Kartik".

"Don't worry he will be fine", Arjun said.

"Arjun, do as she says", Shivya suggested, "her intuitions are never wrong".

"Arjun please call him", Shivani requested.

Suddenly Arjun's phone ran, "see it's Kartik's calls".

Arjun picked it up and kept it on the speaker.

"Hi, is this KArtik's brother speaking?", A voice said from the call.

"Yes??!!"

"Am the SI of the Anand van police station, the car had an accident and everything is burnt, and there is no body inside".

"NOOO!!!", Shivani said in agony and ran outside, Shivya followed her. Shivani reached there and saw KArtik's body lying on the stretcher.

As Kartik was a army member his body was taken by the army team. His last rites were done. Shivani couldn't bear the pain, and her tears were not stopping. The army general handed Kartik's stuffs to Shivani.

Shivya started staying with her sister to look after her, Suryakanta used to come to meet her, those 13 days of mourning were really hard for her.

On the fourteenth day Shivani fainted, she was feeling nauseous, and also vomited. Shivya took her to the hospital and consulted the doctor and got to know she is pregnant.

She went to the room where her sister was resting.

"Why am I here?", Shivani asked.

"You had fallen sick that's why", She answered

"What did the doctor say?"

"That..."

That?"

"You're pregnant".

"What??!!"

"Yes you are".

"I wish Kartik could be here".

"He would have been really happy", Shivya said and hugged her, "now no more crying, just take care of yourself and the baby. They both went back home with Arjun and announced Shivani's pregnancy and they were really happy, but Shivani wasn't that happy.

At night while the sisters were sitting out in the yard Raghini arrived there.

"Aww poor Vishkanya", she said and she was in her real form.

"Oh so you also got to know about us", Shivya said.

"Yes Mahanaag-rani", Raghini said, "and you know what, Kartik didn't die, I killed him".

Shivani hearing this got furious and took her real form.
