I found myself lost in thought as I lay down on the thin bridge watching the stars and listening to the river flow by. I was so lost in thought that I didn't hear the person come up behind me.
"Ahem." I heard a faintly familiar cough and felt a hand placed on my shoulder. Of course me being the wimp I am, I jumped almost a mile in shock and screamed as I found myself falling.
I lost my breath when I hit something cold, and wet. I had fallen off the bridge and was in the water. It was quite deep which I didn't really mind but it was freezing!
"-y God, I'm sorry!" I heard someone yell when I arose to the surface of the water.
When I checked the money was still in my had, I didn't give anytime to see who it was.
"What the fuck man?!" I yelled. "That was fucking freezing, don't scare me like tha-"
His hand was on my shoulder again causing me to trail off. I looked down at the small man who nearly killed me for the second time today. It was Levi.
"The fuck dude? Are you stalking me?" I shook his hand off me and walked back up to my spot on the bench.
"Don't fall." I heard him giggle. Wait, giggle? I looked back to see him and from what I could make out in the dark was a little smirk. Something different to the emotionless expression he held earlier. But the smirk soon disappeared and he was back to normal so I looked away.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah." I sighed. "You can leave now."
"It's late, so you want me to walk you home?"
I looked at him questioningly but then it hit me that he probably doesn't know I'm homeless so I quickly thought of something to say.
"No I'm not 6, I'm pretty capable of getting home on my own." I told him.
"Whatever. Aren't you cold?"
"Hella yeah, thanks to you." I rolled my eyes although he couldn't see it in his dark.
"Go home then?" He said. I replied with a sigh, I've never been told to 'go home' before. "Where do you live, I'll take you."
"No. You could be a pedophile for all I know!"
"Hey, I'm 25, how old are you? What, 20, 21?" He said.
"I'm 19...." I said bluntly.
"Close enough. Come with me I'll get you cleared up."
I didn't want to go but I didn't refuse so I stood up with a groan.
"Why are you helping me?"
Levi was silent for a moment, I assumed he was thinking about something but then he replied.
"I guess I owe you an apology?" He asked though it sounded more like a question so I just shrugged.

Levi took me to his house which was surprisingly really big for such a little man.
"Woah...." I gasped. "This is massive." Compared to my old house this was like a mansion.
"What?" Levi asked. I probably sounded weird so I looked down.
"N-nothing." I watched as Levi walked inside.
"You coming in?" He faced me.
"Huh? Oh uh... Yeah..."
"Shoes off, wash your hands."
As I stepped inside I noticed a small shoe rack and a small bottle of hand sanitizer so I did as told.
"This way. No touching." Levi lead me through the hallway which had small ornaments and picture frames on shelves. I wondered if Levi lived with anyone because there was a few more shoes and some items that didn't seem to fit Levi's personality around. He seems strange but strict maybe quite cold or harsh.... He doesn't seem to be the sort of guy to have friends or even help someone out, especially someone like me...
"Here's a towel." He threw something soft at me without even turning around. Unlike earlier, I wasn't so smooth on catching this item so it ended up hitting me straight in my face. "Bathrooms up there, go have a shower. You stink."
Levi pointed at the room straight up the stairs.
"Um okay?"
"I'm making coffee, do you want some?" He asked.
"Um... No... No th-thanks..."
"Good, I don't know how to make coffee anyway." He said before walking into another room.
I sighed, feeling confused but made my way up the stairs to shower anyway. I'd rather not refuse to this guy after earlier. He's pretty scary yet he's kinda... I don't know, cute? Nah, he- what am I thinking?
~
My shower was quick but I loved it. I haven't had a proper shower for so long. I almost forgot how it felt to be clean. I steeped out of the shower and heard a knock at the door.
"Your clothes are covered in blood. Wear these." Levi's voice said. The door opened slightly and a pile of clothes was thrown in, landing perfectly on the chair that sat next to the bathtub. "They should fit you..."
Levi had given me some skinny jeans and a white button up shirt similar to his. I didn't want to get killed so I obeyed.
Considering this guy was so small, I was surprised the clothes actually fit. Maybe he, for some reason, carries around spares? I wondered whether to leave the top few buttons undone to look how Levi did earlier but I chose not to. Wearing anther persons clothes feels weird as it is so trying to look 'hot' in that persons clothes after you just met them is probably a bit creepy. Isn't it?
I stepped out of the bathroom ready to find Levi but at the same time, another door opened and a woman, a bit smaller than me but not as small as Levi stepped out and faced me. I do think she noticed me at first but when she did she looked startled. She had brown hair with a tint of red tied back in a ponytail and wore glasses. She wore a tshirt with some logo on it, probably from a band, skinny jeans and a baggy green hoodie. Could this be a girlfriend of Levi's?
"Oh my god, sorry hi!" She said before I could speak.
"Um, hell-""Oh you're so cute!And young-"
"Uh-"
"and oh your face! What's your name? What's your age? Where do you come from?"
"I uh...-"
"Are you a friend of Levi's?"
"N-not exac-"
"Wait-no, or are you his boyfriieend? Aww did my lil' senpai finally get a boyfriend?"
