When I finally finished my stressful day at school where I had a test or pop quiz in every class except for my electives I got home and saw a letter in the mail from the hospital. I couldn't wait to open it, just because I was so anxious to see what it said. So I immediately ran inside and opened it. They tested me for all types of cancers, because that was the test that was most recommended. So the letter started on a good note, first it started to tell me all of the cancers I didn't have which got me very excited and relieved but then at the very end of the letter it had said that I am in the development stages of breast cancer. Words could not describe how I felt at the moment. I ran to tell my mom in tears and she comforted me, then I called Jen, Lana, and Mikey on ovoo to tell them the news. They are the most supportive friends someone could ask for. They told me that everything would be okay and that I can win this battle. They gave me hope. Although a part of me believed that it would turn out otherwise, I didn't give up on hope. After a while of talking to them I felt a lot better about the situation and then continued to do my boring history homework.
