April 23, 2015

Today started off as a normal day. I woke up after my alarm rang three times, went to school, ate lunch in the school cafeteria with my best friends, then took the bus back home to eat dinner, but instead of going to the secret hideout like I usually do, I had to go to a doctors appointment at 2:00pm to be tested for cancer. I was showing all of the symptoms and my mom thought it would be good to take me just to make sure. So I ate dinner, changed, and got in the car to make my way to the hospital.
When I got to the waiting room it was eye opening for me to see how many people there were. I never would have thought that it would be so full. Most of the people there were a lot older than me, and there were even a few kids younger than me there. So after about 1 hour of waiting they called my name. I don't know why, but I was very nervous. So they did a whole bunch of tests for different types of cancers and said that they would give us the results by tomorrow.
When I got home all I could think about was what the results were. I hate waiting for things like this! I tried to talk myself into thinking that it isn't a big deal but it didn't work. So I just hoped and prayed that everything would go well.
