I want to say that I like you (AouFuse)

The wind wasn't chilling as one was expecting, he huffed out his warm breath watching it turn white before mingling in the air. Fuse pulled his hands out of his pocket, rubbing them together to create the warmth from the friction. He glanced at the door and clicked his tongue annoyingly. The dawn was beautiful, the small ray of sun was not enough to warm him.

"What is taking him so long?" Fuse said and turned to look at Lucky, his pet dog which he saved while he was working with Aou. Lucky didn't pay him any attention and continued to sniff the cement tiles. Maybe they are more interesting for him than his sulky owner. Fuse sighed " 'I will be ready in 5 minutes' he said and it has been more than 10 now." He continued to complain as if Lucky would understand him.

Aou and Fuse made a whole week's schedule to simultaneously take care of Lucky. Their routine was simple, Aou would be incharge on the first 3 days of the week and the next 3 days was Fuse's turn, Sunday's are family time and they spend the whole day together. They were silly at first but Fuse looks forward to these days, just to meet Aou again.

But at the moment Aou was running late,Fuse shifted his weight from one foot to the other, his breath visible in the cool air as he continued his one-sided conversation. "I mean, who says five minutes and takes forever? Typical Aou. Always dramatic, even when it comes to getting ready."

Lucky suddenly paused his sniffing and perked up, his ears twitching as he looked toward the door. Fuse followed Lucky's gaze and straightened up, his grumpy expression softening slightly. "Finally" Fuse muttered.

The door opened, and Aou stepped out, looking effortlessly cozy in an oversized sweater that hung loosely off one shoulder and a pair of snug joggers. His hair was slightly messy, as if he hadn't bothered to fix it completely, and there was a faint flush on his cheeks from the apartment's warmth.

Fuse was momentarily starstruck, his complaints dying on his lips as he took in Aou's appearance. Most of the time Aou wore a simple T-Shirt with jacket or something but today is different. The way the sweater pooled around his smaller frame and the natural ease with which he carried himself made Fuse forget his annoyance entirely

The familiar scent of jasmine-Aou's signature-carried over, and suddenly the cold didn't feel as cold anymore. Aou's face was close to him, he watched the little red hue on his cheeks, lips moving but no sound reached to his ears.

"Hello? Earth to Fuse? Did the cold freeze your brain or something?" Fuse blinked, snapping out of it when Aou waved a hand in front of his face.

Fuse averted his gaze from Aou, quickly looking away and clearing his throat "Yeah, yeah, whatever. Took you long enough."

Aou ignored the remark and crouched down to greet Lucky, who was already wagging his tail excitedly. Lucky never hides his favouritism does he? Fuse watched as Aou's face lit up with a soft smile, his fingers ruffling Lucky's fur with ease.

"You're really spoiling him, you know," Fuse said, trying to regain his composure. His voice had regained its typical teasing edge, but the flush on his ears betrayed him.

"Jealous, are we?" Aou quipped without looking up, his fingers scratching behind Lucky's ears. "My handsome Lucky, did you miss me?? Because I missed you tons." Aou cooed and Lucky let out a happy bark, affectionately licking Aou's hand as he patted his head. Fuse crossed his arms, watching the scene with a mixture of fondness and frustration.

"Wow, not even a 'hello' or 'sorry to keep you waiting' for me" Fuse complained, the guy is more of a complaint box than a human. "Lucky gets all the love, and I'm just the guy standing here like a frozen popsicle."

Aou sighed,giving Lucky one last gentle pat on the head before standing to face Fuse, his eyes glimmering with a mischievous glint.

"Oh ho, this giant puppy is sulking," Aou stretched his hand out on his head. His hand affectionately tucked his hair strands behind his ear and slowly patted his head, "there there good boy Fuse, I missed you too little complaint box- I mean friend."
