Summary: Phil has a crush on Janice and is trying to get her to like him back, Dan is jealous.

DAN POV

Phil is at that stupid fucking shop again. Arrgh! She makes me want to stab myself in the stomach with a fork... Well, maybe not that much but you get what I mean!

I tapped my foot against the floor, waiting for Phil to get home. I pulled out my phone and tested him.

Dan: where are you?

Phil<3: i'm with janice we're getting coffee

Dan: bring me back some coffee i'll pay you back later.

Phil<3: oh okay. I'll see you in a few hours then.

Hours? How dare he! He knows I don't like being home by myself.. And it was getting dark.

Dan: no come home soon its getting dark

Phil<3: daaaaaaan

Dan: phiiiiiillll

Phil<3: ugh okay fine.

Dan: thank you! bye!

Phil<3: bye.

I put my phone back down into my pocket as I walked to the kitchen, I'm happy Phil is coming home soon (totally not because i'm jealous...What even is jealousy?)

I grab my half empty cereal box and grab a bowl and milk from the fridge. I tip the cereal box and some the cereal falls into the bowl with a few going on the counter. I put the cereal box away and pick up the stray bits and throw them into my bowl. I then pour milk into my bowl and put the milk back in the fridge.

Phil pov

I sat across from Janice, she was a nice girl. She had brown curly hair with light green eyes. She smiled and took a sip of her coffee "so... What's Dan like?" She asked.  I sat up a bit, adjusting my posture.

"Oh Dan? Yeah he's great. We have the same music taste and we like the same shows. It's really fun." I said

"...and you live together?" She said quietly

"Yeah..."

"....and theirs absolutely nothing going on between you two." She said, holding back a chuckle.

My eyes widen "N-No!" I retorted. Rude thing to say. I thought

"Oh! No-no I didn't mean to offend you I jus-"

"You didn't offend me. Don't worry about it." I cut her off. I felt my phone buzz in my pocket as my ringtone (nyan cat) started playing. I gave Janice a sympathetic look and mouthed the word 'sorry' and she nodded.  I put the phone against my ear.

"Hello..?"

"Hi. It's Dan? Remember me? The person you said you would be home soon to? Yeah that's me." He said sarcastically.

"Dan I'll be home soon! Jeez, give me some space would you?" I said, hanging up the phone before he could say anything.

"If he wants you home you could leave." Janice said with a smile.
I thought for a bit.

"Would you like to meet him?" I said
"What?"
"Would you like to meet him. Dan, I mean." I said, maybe she'll like him.

"Um, yeah, sure!" She mumbled, taking another sip of her coffee.

"Before we go Dan wants some coffee too." I said to her. She smiled back at me "And you know what kind of coffee he wants?" She said.
"Coffee with double milk." I said. Janice giggled a bit.

We got Dan's coffee and we got a cabbie to Dan and I's Apartment building-
I opened the door and let Janice inside
"Ooh this is nice!" she commented.
"Thanks." I heard Dan say. he was sitting at the table wearing his moth button up and his earrings that he hasn't worn in a while.
"Why are you all fancy?" I said to him, taking off my jacket.

"Oh well I just thought I'd look nice today." He stood up and shook Janice's hand "You must be Janice, then." He said smiling.
"I am." She mumbled.

"I'm Daniel. Call me Dan."
I looked at Dan, he was obviously flirting and it kinda made me angry, he knew how much I liked Janice.

I coughed and Dan let go of Janice's hand. He sat back down and I looked at Janice, she was blushing a lot more than she was when she was with me. I walked over and grabbed Dan's wrist
"F-fuck." I heard him mumble
Oh yeah I remembered he used to cut
I pulled him behind the wall and practically pinned him to it, I noticed his face got red.
"What are you doing?" I said to him.
"What do you mean?"
"You're flirting with her!" I scream-whispered.
"No I'm not." He said, crossing his arms.
I bit my bottom lip in anger.
"Yes you are!"
"Well I wonder why!" He yelled loudly, Janice could probably hear him.
"Why then? You know how much I like her!" I retorted.

I shot a look at me, a look I never seen on him before jealousy and anger
"PPFT! You don't really like her!" He said sarcastically.
"Yes I do!" I yelled at him, clenching my fists together.
"No you don't! I know you Phil and you don't love her!" He yelled back, shoving me off of him and walking away. I peaked out Janice must have left.
I grabbed Dan's shoulder and spun him around "Why are you acting this way!?" I screamed at him, getting really annoyed.

"BECAUSE I FUCKING LOVE YOU!" He shouted and ran to his room, slamming the door.
