☆ SCP Number: SCP-9789-2
☆ Title: "The Groundsman of Burnham"
☆ Other Names: The anomaly itself and some researchers may use the colloquial "Yrsa" when engaging in conversation with or about SCP-9789 as it prefers to be called by its alleged name.
☆ Threat Level: Yellow
☆ Object Class: Thaumiel
☆ Containment Area: SCP-9879-2 was originally taken from inside of SCP-9789-1 then moved to a standard containment cell at Site [REDACTED]. The room was a 3.73x2.83 meters with basic furnishings such as one bed with a thin blanket and pillow, a small table, and a ceramic tea set which it had been permitted to bring with it. Though as researchers were making shift changes while observing 9879-2 the camera feed had been completely lost. Mobile Task Force 'Pollux' was sent into the containment cell to provide feed back on the new condition of the room. Inside was now a sprawling lush forest, there was no sign they had come from inside the facility except for a singular dirt path leading back to the door. 15 minutes after initial entry commander of MTF 'Pollux' communicated with outside staff through a walkie-talkie as he described the new appearance of 9789-1 within the containment cell. When the unit soon came across 9789-2 there afterwards it only laughed at their questions, responding that "it had been all too dreary there. I prefer my own home." Recent testing concludes that 9789-1 is seemingly endless on the inside, with rooms sometimes moving locations or just having unnatural properties such as a tower-esc room lined with giant, gold gears. Further testing needed.

Observed Abilities

☆Abnormal Properties: SCP-9789-2 has gone through a series of testing which tests its physical capabilities. Though as of the moment it remains unmeasured due to limitations on testing, SCP-9789-2 has demonstrated feets of superhuman strength and speed alongside several unexplained phenomena. These include:
     • Holding open a closing door to a decontamination room with one hand and destroying several others during a breach.
     • Pulling an Sytche among other items (EX. A lit candelabra, pocketwatch, full ink quill, ETC.) from the inside of her coat.
     • Sustaining fire from several .50 caliber BMG rounds, a 155 mm M777 Howitzer, several mortars, and a plasma-beam all with little to no sign of injury or fatigue.
     • Ingesting amnestic and feeling nothing but "a slight buzz." Subject displayed similar feelings when exposed to highly toxic gases.
    • Preforming inhuman acts of precision and accuracy such as successful catching a falling tower of files and having them remain in perfect standing or being able to throw its scythe from 250 meters away only for it to hit right on target if unblocked.
☆ Abnormal Effects on Humans: SCP 9789-1, also know as Burnham Manor, is the ex and semi-current residence of 9789-2. While 9789-2 displays no effect on human beings or other entities, 9789-1 does seem make all who enters its grounds- both Garden or the actual estate- enter a peaceful and docile state where they are attentively cared for by the groundsman, 9789-2, until they exit the grounds and thus return to normal some odd minutes later.  9789-2 does, however, have the ability to subconsciously alter its scent to appeal most to others, each individual will experience a difference scent no matter if they are are near SCP-9789 at the same time.
