Mute // Problems That Needed Amendments With Love //
( Sam's Pov)
After placing my book into the locker,
I waited for Charlie at the entrance of the Cafeteria. I stud there for 5 mins.
I keep wondering where the heck did he go and also what's taking him so long. Yes I'm impatient I know.
I saw him walking with a good-looking girl. I think it is his friend or girl friend but the both of them look good together.
That was what I thought. I smiled at the both of them. Charlie waved his hand.
The three of us walk in, the both of them seem very engrossed in their conversation so I just ignored them and walked first. I saw and empty place and seat. I was wondering what were they talking about that they cannot even wait to seat. I sat down, I waved my hand gesture to make them sit down and they did.
I took out my phone and typed. I always have to be ready with my phone when I need to respond to someone.
At first, using the handphone to communicate was very annoying for me because usually I prefer to speak face on or just call and talk but unfortunately now I can't.
I know it's a pity but I just had to endure with the problems that God had given me.
I know there will always be a good thing behind what He has plan for me.
I don't feel comfortable texting just to respond and I was quite slow typing the text on my phone. I got frustrated and threw the phone across the room.
I remember that incident. I smiled to my smile like an idiot. I don't care what people say or judge. Whatever.
Anyways, it was around the time where I was quite new to being mute. The doctor recommended me by learning sign language. I just started trying to learn it the first time. I just gave up.
To me, it was extremely hard. I eventually hated it. Then, the doctor also recommend on using my phone to communicate. I lip-talk my aunt that if I go to school handphones are not allowed.
The doctor gave me prescription and also a letter so if I needed permission to use my phone in class I should give this to the teacher in-charge.
I think if the teacher is considerate or the school is extra nice they will allow me to use it the entire schooling hours.
If not, I'll just use it during class. Then, the both of them stared at me blankly. I look at them. I took out my phone and typed, "what are the both of you talking about?" I passed it to Charlie. "Oh! It's about this adventure/fantasy book that I am currently reading."
